An exclusive teaser for the second season of American Horror Stories on FX on Hulu takes you inside various terrifying tales filled with gore and dolls. In a similar vein to American Horror Story, the Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk-created series features a fresh terror-filled narrative every week in a quicker version of the format. On July 21, the second season of the FX show will be released, and Hulu subscribers will be able to watch it via the streaming service. In the nine-episode season, we can expect to see some gut-wrenching scenes and a glimpse of the stories to come. American Horror Stories opens with Spalding (Denis O’Hare), a guy we’ve either seen previously or will be paying tribute to.
Coven fans will remember Spalding as the scary butler who had a fondness for dolls and went so far as to convert Madison Montgomery’s (Emma Roberts) body into a life-size doll. There will be an episode about a similar-minded man who seduces ladies and turns them into his tea-time buddies, regardless of whether Spalding’s genesis story is included or not. On top of that, we’ve got a serial killer narrative, a haunted house, and returning stars like Cody Fern, Nico Greetham and Gabourey Sidibe. The trailer is jam-packed with the series’ trademark frights and heart-stopping thrills. Despite its short runtime, there’s a lot going on, making it difficult to predict what we’ll see in the upcoming season. However, with episodes like “Necro,” “Facelift,” and “Lake” as names, we may make some educated guesses about the topics that each episode will focus on.
Alicia Silverstone, Bella Thorne, Dominique Jackson, and Quvenzhané Wallis are among the newcomers joining the ranks of American Horror Story, in addition to the cast members returning from previous seasons. Manny Coto, John J Gray, Alexis Martin Woodall and Loni Peristere are also executive producers. The new teaser for American Horror Stories’ next season is both horrifying and intriguing in equal measure. Fortunately, with the premiere less than ten days away, we won’t have to wait long to see what new horrors Murphy and Falchuk have in store for us.
