Despite their best efforts, Momonosuke, Shinobu, and Yamato remain on the run from the thugs. Yamato informs Shinobu that they may hide from the others in a huge area on each story of the castle, according to Shinobu. The three Marys are still on the run, one of the Marys reveals. Yamato and Shinobu win the battle against the pursuing foes. Because Momonosuke can’t protect himself, he tells them how sorry he is. It soothes him that Shinobu believes he will become a great shogun in the future.
Momonosuke transforms into his dragon form when he is overcome by emotions. Momonosuke ate a Devil Fruit, and Yamato discovers this. The dragon-like appearance of Momonosuke has also a striking resemblance to Kaido’s. Vegapunk’s man-made fruit is manufactured with Kaido’s Bloodline Elements by one of the CP0. Since Vegapunk considered it a failure, he refused to hand it up to the government. Oden welcomes the Akazaya Nine to the Treasure Repository.
He tells them he won’t die fast because of what occurred in the past. The memories of Oden’s boyhood come flooding back to Kiku. Oden expresses his gratitude to the samurai for their service over the previous two decades. Raizo and Ashura begin to suspect Oden’s identity after remarking that Toki will be pleased to learn that he is still alive. Raizo reminds Kinemon of Toki’s might, while Ashura accuses him of being a fake. There is an onslaught from both sides by Ashura, and Oden responds with his own attack. To authenticate the impostor, Oden is stabbed by Ashura.
All of the other characters have figured out that Kanjuro was behind this picture of Oden. Ashura receives an apology from Kiku for not finishing Kanjuro. Momonosuke, on the other hand, is asked to return to his human form by Yamato. As a result of meeting Luffy and the others, Momonosuke tells him that he has gotten better at controlling his powers. Whether Momonosuke’s skills are akin to Kaido’s Devil Fruit abilities is something Yamato thinks about. Yamato and Shinobu are taken aback when Momonosuke provides an update on Luffy and the others. Kaido and Big Mom continue to be fought by Luffy, Zoro, Kid, Killer, and Law. Alternate plans begin to be discussed by the group. Law and Zoro agree that they should be separated from one other. Kaido and Luffy are both looking at each other, and Luffy declares that they have an advantage in this fight.
