Season 13 of FX’s Archer will premiere next month! Hulu and FXX will launch the Emmy Award-winning animated spy-comedy series on August 24, 2022, with the new episode streaming the next day. Season 12 will come to a close on October 6, 2021, with the announcement of a 13th season back in September of that year. Eight 30-minute episodes will make up the new series, which will premiere in the fall. Fabian Kingsworth’s espionage conglomerate, the International Intelligence Agency (IIA), will purchase Archer and The Agency in the upcoming season. In order to remain distinct from one another, the gang will take on odd jobs for Kingsworth while maintaining their sense of self-identity and autonomy.
With the addition of King of the Hill, Bob’s Burgers and The Simpsons as well as all seasons of Family Guy to the FXX lineup in September 2021, Archer continues to be a prominent part of the network’s adult animated comedy. As a result of these acquisitions, FXX is currently tied with Adult Swim as one of the most popular cable channels for animated adult comedies. Little Demon, a new animated comedy, will premiere on FXX the day after the premiere of the new season of Archer on Thursday, August 25 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, which is a day after the premiere of the new season of Archer. An executive producer on Archer is Matt Thompson and Casey Willis of Floyd County Productions, along with creator Adam Reed, who also acts as an executive producer on the show.
As the eponymous legendary spy Sterling Archer, H. Jon Benjamin leads the all-star voice ensemble, which also includes Aisha Tyler, Judy Greer, Chris Parnell, Amber Nash, Reed, and Lucky Yates, who are all returning for season 13. Fans may expect to hear the voices of Alison Pill and Christian Slater as well as Kenan Thompson, Alison Pill, Kayvan Novak and Stephen Tobolowsky in Season 13. FX Productions is behind the show’s creation.
