Alma, the forthcoming Spanish horror-mystery series, has been given a new, creepy teaser that hints at what may be this Summer’s Spanish Netflix smash hit series. There are just six survivors of an accident that claims the lives of the majority of Alma’s class of 18. We watch a brief clip of the bus travelling through the uninhabited mountains, which is made even more unnerving by the dense fog and the melancholy song playing in the background.
We next see an unnerving sequence of the horrific accident that turns everything and everyone on board the bus into a tumultuous mess after several pupils voice their concerns about the bad weather. Alma suffers amnesia when she first awakens from her coma as a result of the accident. The survivor wakes up in the hospital with her bandaged injuries, as shown in the teaser. On the day of the accident, we catch a glimpse of her begging her parents for further details.
However, her suspicions begin to increase and she begins to believe that those around her aren’t being honest with her. Alma then sets out to discover what happened before it’s too late and her identity is permanently erased. Series creator Sergio G. Sánchez’s most recent film was Marrowbone, an English-language psychological thriller released in 2017. The first season of Girl in the Mirror has been advertised as having 10 episodes. The Netflix series was produced by Sospecha Films. A 26-year-old actress named Mireia Oriol plays Alma, the show’s protagonist, in the series. lex Villazán, Pol Monen, Maria Caballero, Javier Morgade, and Javier Morgade appear alongside Oriol as the film’s supporting cast.
The following is an official summary supplied by Netflix:
When Alma wakes up in a hospital, she has no recollection of the bus tragedy that nearly all of her classmates died in or of her own background.” Because of her forgetfulness and trauma, her home is overrun by memories she doesn’t remember. She has night terrors and strange images. She’ll enlist the support of people she doesn’t even know in her quest to solve the mystery of the tragedy and regain control of her life and identity. On the 19th of August, Netflix will make The Girl in the Mirror readily available for viewing.
