Riverdale’s Kiernan Shipka just returned for a cameo on Episode 19 of Season 6. The actor, though, expects the gang will want her assistance again. It was revealed in a recent TV Guide interview that the actress loves the character and is eager to repeat her role anytime showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa need it. During the first 5 episodes of Season 6, the CW show staged an event called Rivervale, which reintroduced the fan favourite adolescent witch to the Riverdale community. It was Sabrina’s arrival in the latest episode of Riverdale, The Witches of Riverdale, that brought back the gang’s deceased loved ones.
The future of Sabrina’s franchise remains uncertain despite her success. Shipka made a statement on the possible comeback of the show for a seventh season. No doubt, she’ll be back soon. They’re going to need her assistance once more, I fear. For entertainment’s sake, I would recommend that [they] embrace the pandemonium as much as possible, work hard, and have confidence that everything will work out, but at the end of the day, simply call Sabrina again. To be honest, I think they’re going to need her. While Aguirre-Sacasa was in charge of the program’s direction, he also created the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina starring Kiernan Shipka, which went to Netflix after Season 4 because The CW couldn’t give the show a full series order.
After Shipka spoke about their common love for Sabrina, she stated, “For Riverdale, I told him whenever you need me, I’m there. I’m the one you’re looking for. That’s not all: “I genuinely believe that Roberto and I—and I don’t want to put words in his mouth—but I honestly believe that we’re both so passionate about this role,” I say. Adding to it, It’s great to share her with everyone, and it’s even more exciting to get people enthusiastic about her since she means so much to so many people.
It’s great to be able to show others what you’ve done, and when they enjoy it, it inspires you to keep doing it. I, for one, and I believe Roberto, are eager to see where she can go. I have no idea what it entails, but I’m up for the challenge. I don’t know if I’ll be Sabrina in a year, two years, or three years. On July 17, Riverdale Season 6 will come to a close.
