“Motherf**ker, welcome to the day shift!” The teaser trailer for the new vampire horror film Day Shift, starring Jamie Foxx and Dave Franco, has been out, and it seems like it’s going to be a bloody good time. Day Shift will be available on Netflix. In the brief film that can be seen above, the hard-working blue-collar guy played by Jamie Foxx has to find $10,000 for his little daughter.
Because he is desperate for money, he enlists Snoop Dogg’s assistance, and Snoop Dogg leads him to a pool-cleaning company that is actually a cover for a secret vampire-hunting organisation. Snoop Dogg introduces him to the union. Dave Franco makes an appearance, sees a vampire, and then instantly urinates himself in front of Jamie Foxx. We are certain that Franco will get his bravery at some point later in the movie.
“Vampires are killers. “This is neither Eclipse, New Moon, nor Breaking Dawn: Part 2,” he informs Franco, sparking a heated discussion between the two individuals concerning the Twilight film franchise. J.J. Perry makes his directorial debut with the feature film Day Shift. Prior to that, he had worked as a stuntman on the films John Wick and John Wick: Chapter 2. The first public screening of the teaser took place at Netflix’s Geek Week, which also featured a cameo appearance by Foxx himself.
Foxx has been quoted as saying, “We’re making something that you’ve never seen before.” “It’s entertaining, and the things that you find there are incredible, as well as useful. Because of the creative method in which J.J. utilises each and every one of his stuntwomen and men, I just cannot wait for other people to experience this.
The original film Day Shift is going to be made available on Netflix on August 12, as part of the streaming platform’s summer lineup of movies. Check out our selection of the most interesting movies that are set to be released in 2022 and beyond for more information.
