Rupert Everett is set to star in an espionage thriller series in the near future. Actor Everett has been cast in Gray, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Agata Alexander’s 2021 film Warning, Charlotte Colbert’s She Will, and 2019’s Muse are among Everett’s past credits (directed by Candida Brady). The series will also include Wendy Crewson and Shawn Doyle. The Kid Detective, directed by Evan Morgan in 2020; From the Vine, directed by Sean Cisterna in 2019; and Kodachrome, directed by Evan Morgan in 2017 are among Crewson’s past credits (directed by Mark Raso). Doyle’s prior credits include Reem Morsi’s The Last Mark from this year, Manuel Carballo’s The Returned from 2013, and Grown Up Movie Star from 2010. (directed by Adriana Maggs).
They haven’t yet been given a role in which they will portray. Tim Rozon, Jamal Grant, and Benjamin Sutherland will join them in the series. Prior to this announcement, the show’s other two stars, Patricia Clarkson and Lydia West, were confirmed. Exec producing duties will be shared by Clarkson. Cornelia Gray will be the subject of a new television series (played by Clarkson). CIA agent Gray has been hiding out in the shadows for the past two decades after he was falsely accused of being a spy.
Upon her return to her former life, it is revealed that her espionage network has a new mole. There will be a total of eight episodes in the show. Ruba Nadda has been tapped to helm Gray. October Gale (2014), Inescapable (2012), and Cairo Time (2009) are only a few of Nadda’s prior projects as a director. The series’ scripts were written by John McLaughlin. McLaughlin’s prior writing credits include 2012’s Hitchcock (directed by Sacha Gervasi) and 2010’s Black Swan (directed by Damien Chazelle) (directed by Darren Aronofsky). Author David Baldacci came up with the concept for Gray. The 6:20 Man, the Aloysius Archer series, and the Atlee Pine series are all Baldacci’s works. exec producers will be Nadda, McLaughlin and Baldacci.
The show will be produced by AGC, Lionsgate Television, and Night Train Media. Stuart Ford and Lourdes Diaz of AGC, Agapy Kapouranisand and Elliott Brannon of Lionsgate, as well as Herbert L. Kloiber of Night Train Media, will serve as executive producers with the aforementioned individuals. The show’s executive producer will also be Marc Shmuger. Gray will be released in the United States by AGC Studios. The show will be aired in other countries thanks to a deal with Lionsgate Television. Toronto is where the filming of Gray is taking place. Gray has yet to get an official premiere date. In the meanwhile, fans may catch up on Everett’s prior work by watching last year’s film Warning, which is presently streaming on Roku.
