An overview of the last week’s episode
After Shikadai replaced Chunin, the focus of Boruto Episode 256, which returned the series to an episodic structure, was on Chocho and Inojin’s anxieties. His friend felt as if they were a burden, which was made worse by the fact that Shikadai’s new activities seldom ever involved them. Shikadai asked Chocho and Inojin to help with a new project, and they were delighted to accept. However, they soon learned that they would not be working with their friend. They were tasked with locating a missing ninja who lived in Konoha and who later revealed himself to be a routine ramen maker.
Both Genin offered to help him make the ultimate ramen as an act of reparation for the error. Sadly, they worked all day without finding the correct recipe. The cook was kidnapped because some thieves believed he had some information they required, despite the chef and the Shinobi’s agreement to look for fresh supplies throughout the night. Shikadai helped Team 10 save the chef, but they had to hurry back to his shop so they could prepare the perfect ramen before dawn. The three friends’ close bond ultimately led to the creation of the delicious Ino-Shika-Cho ramen with chips on top.
What can we expect from Episode 257 of Boruto?
The Seventh Hokage is a character that renowned actor Kagemasa wants to include in his upcoming movie, but Naruto is just as busy as ever. In his hour of need, he begged his younger brother Konohamaru to step into his role in the film. Konohamaru will agree to the plan once Naruto explains that he made a pledge to small Himawari. In addition to learning the ins and outs of his new job, Konohamaru must also learn how to portray his childhood hero. While Konohamaru gets used to his new employment, Boruto Episode 257 seems to be full of comical scenarios. However, the last episode had a few moments where it felt a little plodding, so let’s hope this upcoming episode will make this novel concept work better.
