Having shown at Cannes earlier this year, Focus Features has added Armageddon Time to this year’s picture lineup with a theatrical release scheduled for later this autumn. November 4th will see a domestic theatrical release of the picture until November 11th when it will be released in all theatres across the United States. A seven-minute standing ovation was given to the picture when it opened at Cannes earlier this year.
On Rotten Tomatoes, the film boasts a 90% rating from 40 reviews, which is in line with the audience’s reception. The performers’ performances and Gray’s directing were appreciated throughout the film. Armageddon James Gray, the filmmaker behind such critically praised films as Ad Astra and The Lost City of Z, wrote and directed Time. As a historical piece, it will focus on topics such as the importance of family and the American ideal as the protagonist grows up.
Because Gray is focused on a deep and intimate subject, viewers may expect to be moved to tears by this film’s emotional impact. Anne Hathaway and Jeremy Strong will also appear in the film. Tovah Feldshuh and Tovah Feldshuh will also appear in the film. Andrew Polk, John Diehl, Andrew Polk, and Ryan Sell will also be included in the film.
