Better Call Saul’s sixth and final season premieres on AMC in just over five days, and the network has published a new teaser urging its fans to remember the good times ahead of the show’s conclusion. The new teaser, dubbed “Places,” takes viewers back in time to revisit some of the most memorable locations and characters from both Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad. Once inside Saul Goodman’s (Bob Odenkirk) office, the blow-up Statue of Liberty can be seen soaring above the building before making its way to the Constitution-covered wall. Also, the Crossroads Motel, a significant site in Breaking Bad, and the Los Pollos Hermanos, the courthouse where Chuck (Michael McKean) had his dramatic and legendary breakdown in Season 3 of the series, are notable places.
The trailer begins with “A Little Bit of Rain” by Fred Neil playing over a black-and-white shot of each of these locales, much like the flash-forwards shown in the Breaking Bad prequel series. When Saul chooses out a shirt from his closet, his voice-over states, “Let justice be done till the heavens collapse.” “The final episodes will finish the tortuous path and metamorphosis of its conflicted hero, Jimmy McGill, into criminal lawyer Saul Goodman,” states the official description that accompanies this video.
Breaking Bad & Better Call Saul fans will be happy to know that the tale they’ve been following for so long is finally coming to an end in this new teaser, even though it does not reveal anything new about the approaching finale. The show’s founders and writers, Peter Gould and Vince Gilligan, as well as Mark Johnson, Melissa Bernstein, Thomas Schnauz, Gordon Smith, Alison Tatlock, Diane Mercer, and Michael Morris, are all involved the show’s executive producer as executive producers. Rhea Seehorn, Jonathan Banks, Patrick Fabian, Michael Mando, Tony Dalton, and Giancarlo Esposito join Odenkirk in the series’ all-star cast. AMC has revealed that Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul will reprise their roles as Walter White and Jesse Pinkman in the final season of Breaking Bad. Television production company Sony Pictures Television is in charge of putting the show together.
Better Call Saul’s final season starts on AMC on July 11th.
