Lokesh Kanagaraj is the man behind the writing and directing of the Tamil film Vikram, an action thriller. Vikram features Kamal Haasan, Fahadh Faasil, and Vijay Sethupathi in the leading roles, along with Chemban Vinod Jose, Kalidas Jayaram, and Antony Varghese, Narain, and Arjun Das in supporting parts. The cast also includes Arjun Das. The film that Kamal Haasan and Mahendran produced under the brand of “Raaj Kamal Films International.” Anirudh Ravichander is responsible for composing both the film’s score and its accompanying soundtrack. Girish Gangadharan was in charge of the cinematography, while Philomin Raj was the editor.
The Whole (Detailed) Story
The narrative of the movie begins with a number of people being murdered in the city by a gang of masked individuals who claim responsibility for the killings and refer to it as their “war” against the established order. An undercover agent team led by Amar (Fahadh Faasil) is brought in by Police Officer Jose (Chemban Vinod Jose), who begins investigating Karnan (Vikram) and his son, who is also a police officer (Kalidas).
Amar also finds Sandhanam (Vijay Sethupathi), who is the biggest drug dealer in the city. Santhanam operates the business with his three wives and with his family member in his own house, and Santhanam gets enormous pressure from his employer for missing 900 kg of base ingredient for cocaine. Amar solves the massive conundrum just as Vikram and Bejoy walk through the door (Narain). The rest of the plot, which focuses on whether or not Vikram locates Sandhanam and whether or not he discovers the boss of the drug mafia group, is told through an action-packed and suspenseful script that should be viewed on a large screen.
Release Date
On August 6, 2021, filming for the first schedule of the movie was scheduled to begin in Karaikudi. On March 1st, it was revealed that all of the filmings had been successfully completed. On May 11, 2022, Kamal Haasan released his debut single, which was titled “Pathala Pathala.” Kamal Haasan wrote and sang all of the vocals for this song.
The date of the film’s release around the globe has been set for the 3rd of June 2022.
The film was given a dubbed version in the languages of Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam, all of which were released on the same day. Both the Telugu and Hindi versions were given the title Vikram Hitlist.
