Lionsgate has decided to provide fans of the surreal adventure Everything Everywhere All At Once with a blooper reel video in order to celebrate the release of the critically acclaimed action-comedy Everything Everywhere All At Once on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD today. The video gives the impression that the cast and crew had just as much fun making the movie as we did watch it. The main character, played by Michelle Yeoh, is a lady named Evelyn Wang, who discovers that she has the ability to travel between several realities, which causes her life to be flipped upside down.
It’s not like we need a blooper reel to laugh at Everything Everywhere All At Once: we’re talking about a movie that includes characters with sausage fingers, talking rocks, Raccacoonie, and a big empty bagel… and that’s without even mentioning the verse-jumping triggers! Therefore, the thing that is most unexpected is the fact that the cast was able to maintain their serious expressions while going through all of the absurd and hilarious aspects of the plot. The main cast members Yeoh and her onscreen spouse Ke Huy Quan can be seen at the beginning of the blooper footage acting goofy while they are waiting for their next shoot.
During the filming of the movie’s first major action sequence, the tape also shows Quan joking around and having fun with a fanny pack. In another part of the video, Yeoh completely loses it when Harry Shum Jr. is “driving” her and running around the streets yelling for Raccacoonie while she is supposedly driving him. The video then depicts Jamie Lee Curtis and Michelle Yeoh attempting to master the reins of the story’s weirdness without breaking up, which is an endeavour that obviously fails. Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, together referred to as “The Daniels,” are responsible for the writing and directing of the film Everything Everywhere All At Once.
They have overseen a variety of other bizarre productions in the past, including “The Death of Dick Long” and “Swiss Army Man.” With the new movie, however, the pair of filmmakers created history as the title soon became the independent production firm A24’s biggest blockbuster, with over $90 million collected in at the box office globally. Moreover, the film was a collaboration between the two of them.
It has also been frequently cited as one of the best movies of the year, and it kind of stole the multiverse thunder from Marvel’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, as it really explored the wild possibilities of parallel universes, whereas the mega-blockbuster starring Benedict Cumberbatch barely had fun with the concept. In addition, the movie has been frequently cited as one of the best movies of the year. Today marks the release of Everything Everywhere All At Once on 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + Digital, Blu-ray + Digital, and DVD in this universe.
