SEVEN YEARS AGO, I BET IF SOMEONE HAD TOLD ME THAT THE NOVEL YOU WROTE WOULD BECOME A COMIC, I BET I’D HAVE TOLD THEM TO STOP PULLING MY LEG. BUT NOW, I’VE BEEN TOLD, IT WILL BE ANIMATED?! Seriously, please stop yanking on my leg! … But these days, I’m ecstatic and giddy. I WANT TO SEE JINWOO AND THE OTHER CHARACTERS ANIMATED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE TO FEEL COMFORTABLE. Are there any plans to adapt Solo Leveling into an anime? If so, who will be involved in casting, character design, writing and composing the soundtrack? It has been officially announced that the series would be animated by A-Pictures Company, a Tokyo-based studio that has worked on a number of popular anime series, including Black Butler, Blue Exorcist, Sword Art Online, Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War, and 86 Eighty-Six. In addition to Noboru Kimura (Mai-HiME) and Tomoko Sudo (The Seven Deadly Sins), Shunsuke Nakashige (Sword Art Online) will serve as the anime’s director. The music for Solo Leveling Anime will be created by Hiroyuki Sawano, who also worked on the score for Attack on Titan.
Is it going to be dubbed or subtitled?
For the sake of time, let’s suppose that Solo Leveling’s voice cast will be disclosed for both the Japanese Episodes and a hypothetical English-language dub closer to Solo Leveling’s release date and that it will be accessible in other languages as subtitled just like One Piece.
