The conclusion of Stranger Things volume 2 of season 4, was presented in a mammoth episode that lasted for two hours and twenty minutes. However, not everyone made it out of the show alive, and one of the stars who is leaving has opened up about what happened to the ones who didn’t make it. Warning! Eddie Munson had time to shine as a hero near the conclusion of the fourth and final volume of Stranger Things. The former student who is now on the run was an essential cog in the wheel of the plan to bring down Vecna.
At the conclusion of the show, he and Dustin, played by Gaten Matarazzo, travel to the Upside Down in an effort to divert the attention of the Demogorgons while Nancy, Steve, and Robin look for Vecna’s body. When the bats discover Dustin and Eddie hiding in the trailer, Eddie makes the decision to play hero and distracts the bats so that Dustin and Eddie may escape. This is when things begin to go awry. They crowd around him, and once he has been sufficiently injured by the assault, he passes away in Dustin’s arms while he is still bleeding out. The actor Joseph Quinn has given some insight into the death of his character, stating that he is prepared for the reaction of the audience.
According to what he said to the Los Angeles Times, “I’ve been emailing the Duffers sporadically over the sabbatical period, and certainly, we’re preparing ourselves” (opens in new tab). “Every character has a beginning, a middle, and an ending, and I am extremely moved by the reaction that Eddie has had and how hospitable they have been. There is a beginning, a middle, & an ending to every character’s story. There is a significant amount of affection for both the programme and the individuals that appear in it.” He continued by saying, “It’s something I never expected to experience, and it’s humbling.” It wasn’t until Quinn got the part that he found out what happened to his character, he stated; before that, he had no idea.
After receiving the final screenplay from the Duffer Brothers, he wasted no time in getting to work on improving his guitar-playing talents.

When questioned about how anything like this might take place, he responded as follows: “I’m not sure, but here I was thinking… Joe Keery and I were having a conversation about the many ways that I may [return].
If there was potential for something a little bit supernatural, perhaps I would be nothing more than a fabrication of Gaten’s imagination or something along those lines.” Despite the fact that it would be amazing to have him return for the fifth season of Stranger Things, the actor has admitted that he believes the character’s arc has been satisfactorily resolved. “I have a sneaking hunch that Eddie has completed all of the tasks that were necessary for the Brothers,” he said.
