Tokyo Revengers Chapter 259 was highly anticipated by fans after Taiju Shiba made an appearance on the battlefield in the previous chapter. Toman’s next chapter appears to centre on Taiju and how he got into Toman, but the leaked panels also hint to the series’ most awaited showdown. This morning’s scans were haphazard and devoid of context, with little to no narrative coherence, because TokyoRevenji is currently on pause in protest of misconduct by other leakers. There was some insight into how the bouts were set up and how Taiju may have been accepted into Toman from the raw panels, though. While waiting for a train to arrive, Taiju and Takemichi had a brief talk. Taiju’s motorbike may be seen slamming into Sanzu’s unconscious body. Mitsuya and Taiju look to be in a flashback in this panel. Taiju may have joined Toman around this time.
Mikey appears to be getting ready for a battle in yet another batch of uncoloured panels. Hanma’s sardonic smirk appears in the next frame. Finally, Takemichi and Taiju dash into a fight together in the next panels. After defeating multiple Kantou members, Taiju is confronted by two unidentified people. The last leaked panel depicts Taiju assuring Takemichi that if anybody could overcome Mikey, it would be him. A few moments later, Mikey is seen looking at something or someone with a blank expression. After reading the leaked images of Tokyo Revengers Chapter 259, the two most pressing issues for readers are who Taiju is battling and if Takemichi will finally confront Mikey.’
Benkei and Wakasa both belonged to the Black Dragons, and Taiju was their 10th Generation President, thus pitting them against one other isn’t entirely out of character. It’s possible that only Taiju from Toman can defeat Benkei and Wakasa simultaneously. Taiju is perhaps the only Toman native capable of taking on both Benkei and Wakasa at once. Chapter 259 of Tokyo Revengers is expected to answer the question of how Taiju came to join Toman. Hakkai was clearly a part of his life, but spoilers suggest that Mitsuya was the one who pushed him to join Takemichi. Taiju, not his younger brother Hakkai, was the one who cried out to Mitsuya in the previous episode. Readers may also guess that because Taiju has joined Takemichi, Takeomi can’t be far away. The eldest Akashi brother has yet to join the battle, so it’s unclear when he’ll make his move.
