[Latest] Read One Piece Chapter 1054 Summaries, Storyline, Preview, Leaks & Much More Updates

There will be a one-month hiatus in the One Piece manga series since chapter 1054’s publishing date has officially been determined following the postponement. The One Piece fandom has long known that the manga series was gradually going toward its last definitive story arc, especially with the finale of Kaido versus Luffy on the Onigashima rooftop last month. However, the shocking news earlier this month that the manga’s final arc will arrive considerably sooner than anticipated caught many fans by surprise.

A one-month hiatus from One Piece has been announced by mangaka Eiichiro Oda as he prepares for the series’ final arc. Here’s the latest on when exactly manga chapter 1054 will be released.

What is One Piece Chapter 1054’s release date and why is it taking so long?
from 2022’s Issue #30 of Weekly Shonen Jump, the One Piece manga series will take a pause until Issue #34. Fans outside of Japan won’t be able to read chapter 1054 of One Piece until Sunday, July 24th. It was announced via the manga’s Twitter account on June 7th that the next sabbatical will be used in part to prepare for the final arc of the whole plot.

This Summer is going to be exceedingly difficult for Oda, according to his production crew some months ago. Besides the 25th anniversary celebrations, he has to supervise Netflix’s live-action series in South Africa, promote the One Piece: Red theatrical movie, and then design the manga series’ last arc. Although Oda was originally astonished to hear of the idea, it was ultimately determined that a well-deserved break was the best course of action given how busy the legendary series will be this Summer.

Additionally, Oda mentioned that his earlier trip to the Netflix production set was cancelled because of the pandemic and that his attention must also be focused on the impending Red theatrical film.

INTERVIEWS WITH THE CAST AND CREW
This one-month sabbatical will be a valuable learning opportunity for the next One Piece Netflix live-action series, but Eiichiro Oda should not worry about the set during his time on set. Netflix’s latest Geeked Week event unveiled six new cast members and even a behind-the-scenes peek at the sets being constructed in South Africa for the next One Piece remake.
Chiomo Umuela is Nojiko, Celeste Loots is Kaya, Alexander Maniatis is Klahadore, Langley Kirkwood is Captain Morgan, Craig Fairbress is Chef Zeff, and Steven Ward is Mihawk, all of whom have joined the ensemble.
