Is Amado still alive in Boruto Chapter 71?
When Code and Eida penetrated Konohagakure, they were able to complete their mission: capture former Kara scientist Amado so that Code’s limiters could be lifted and he could unleash his full potential. Amado appears to have removed the limiters from Code in the closing scene of Chapter 70, and as the villain floats, he declares he feels like he can’t lose against anybody. Code, on the other hand, wanted to murder Amado now that he had already exploited him for this reason. Code lifted his paw in preparation to murder Amado, but the story abruptly ended before we could witness what occurred next. In Chapter 71, we’ll find out if Amado genuinely escaped Code’s attack. If the scientist survives, the chapter is likely to reveal something significant about him. There’s already a hypothesis that Amado is a villain, and we’ve already seen evidence to back up this theory. The latest episode may possibly show whether Eida is Amado’s daughter or a doppelgänger.

Update: Major spoilers for Boruto Chapter 71 have already surfaced, indicating that Daemon gets in the way of Code’s plan to assassinate Amado. Daemon and Eida turn against Code, according to spoiler material released online, and Daemon begins battling Code. Daemon simply needs his palm to touch an adversary to reflect strikes, according to Bug. Update: Now that Boruto Chapter 71 has been released, here are some huge spoilers: Amado informs Ada that he has something to say about Kawaki just as Code is ready to deliver the final blow with his claw on Amado. Eida inquires about Kawaki after Code has stopped the onslaught. Kawaki is the “ace up my sleeve,” according to Amado.

Eida inquires about Amado’s meaning, to which Code responds that Amado is only biding his time. Eida instructs Code not to interrupt her conversation with him. Code thinks this is ridiculous and asks Eida if she’ll purchase Amado’s mutterings. Amado is also on Code’s Retribution List, according to him. Then Eida dials Daemon’s number, and her brother intervenes to prevent Code from killing Amado. Code recognises that his desire to murder is mirrored in his actions. Eida asks Code whether he meant to murder her younger brother, and Code responds that it’s a terrible charge given that she fired the initial shot. Eida informs Code that she has already warned him that if he becomes a barrier to them, she would have to get rid of him. Amado informs Code that Eida has received an offer from Konoha to spend time with Kawaki and that if she connects with Code, they would jeopardise their prospects.

Code begs Amado to turn off the radio, claiming that he’s attempting to dupe Eida and “throw him to the wolves,” but it won’t succeed. Amado claims that he is only telling the truth. Code tries to assault Amado once more, but Daemon intervenes. Daemon asks Code if he’s foolish, and if he’s older sister responds “don’t,” he should stop. Meanwhile, in Konoha, Shikimaru discusses Eida’s enchanting abilities with Naruto, Sasuke, and Boruto. He says that Amado claimed that other androids had exceeded Jigen’s capabilities, one of them is Eida, but Eida is not Code’s sole partner. Shikimaru reveals that when Code was besieged, he called another cyborg to defend him and that he’s convinced there’s at least one more enemy cyborg.

Returning to the Kara hideaway, Code informs Eida that Daemon is acting strangely and that she should intervene. Eida expresses her gratitude to Code for liberating her and explains why she assisted him in regaining his power. She suggests that they call it a day for the time being and put a stop to it. Code asks Eida if she’s serious, tells her he loves her with all his heart, and asks if she still requires his power. Eida declares, “Thank you, but no. Your self-serving attitude bothers me. I’ve had enough of your sentiments, whether they’re genuine or not.” Daemon promises to protect big sister from everyone, while Code claims that Eida only requires one knight: him. Amado, Daemon, and Eida are all taken aback by what Code has stated. Code, Eida claims, gives her the creeps.

Code informs Daemon that they need to figure out who the true stumbling block is once and for all. Bug warns Code to avoid Daemon’s palms, saying that “actions are only reflected when he touches others with his hands.” Bug is referred to be a jerk by Eida. Bug’s views on why he informed Code may be read by Eida: This, Bug believes, is the best-case scenario since they may end up destroying each other.
Code tries to use his claw to strike Daemon, but he evades and informs Code of what he said before about not being able to lose anybody. Daemon thinks Code’s remark is humorous. Daemon assaults Code, but he uses his Claw Mark to teleport away. Code arrives behind Daemon and attempts to strike him with his claw, but Daemon responds with a kick to the face, causing Code to fall against the wall. Code appears to be stronger than Jigen, according to Daemon, thus neither Hokage nor Uchiha should pose a problem for him. Daemon claims that the number one – him – doesn’t care if he comes in second or third.

When Code teleports near Bug, Eida asks if he’s fleeing, and she says she won’t pursue him as long as he doesn’t come in their way. Eida threatens him that she can see everything and, if necessary, kill him. Code informs them that he is on a quest to nurture a divine tree and get its chakra fruit in order to become a new Ohtsutsuki and that Eida’s ability would no longer affect him once he achieves this goal. Daemon attempts to assault Code once again, but Bug is able to teleport away. Daemon refers to Code as a psychopath. Eida informs Amado that not only did he escape the catastrophe, but he also managed to keep her and Code apart. Amado asks Eida if she believed it was a good idea to sever Code’s ties. Eida says she only wants to hear the rest of his narrative and that if it turns out to be a bluff, she won’t mind murdering him. Amado claims that he has an ace under his sleeve in Kawaki and that it isn’t a bluff. Daemon mounts Amado, and Eida informs the scientist that her brother is ready to murder him if he doesn’t start explaining himself.

Amado reveals that because Kawaki has regained Karma and acquired Isshiki’s talents, his strength is likely to rise even more and that no one in Konoha, even the Hokage, can now counter Kawaki’s might but him. Eida inquires if Amado implanted anything else in Kawaki, to which he responds that he implanted a one-of-a-kind emergency shutdown command code that only he has access to. Amado went on to argue that it is Konoha’s responsibility to handle Kawaki, but that this also affects other villages, thus they have no option but to rely on him. Eida inquires as to why Amado didn’t place a stop function on him from the start, to which Amado responds because Jigen disallowed it. Implanting such a feature in his prized vessel was unacceptable to Jigen. The shutdown function, according to Amado, is only insurance to safeguard his reputation in the hamlet. However, his true goal is something else, and Kawaki’s Karma is required to achieve it. Eida threatens Amado with death until he spills the beans.

Amado says he’ll discuss it, but it’ll be a long narrative, and he’ll have to inform Konoha about it as well. Amado asks Eida whether she is willing to wait till they arrive. Amado advises her to accept Shikimaru’s offer so that she may relocate to Konoha and begin a relationship with Kawaki. Amado assures them that they need not be concerned about Daemon since he would mediate and inform them of his presence. Bug questions Code about why he took him to the head statues of Konoha. Code claims that he saved him, which is preferable to leaving him to die. Code claims that Kawaki is to blame from the start, and inquires as to how he came to be a genuine vessel and why it couldn’t have been him. Eida, according to Code, has taken everything from him. He’ll murder Kawaki, the Hokage, his companions, and the Konoha village, according to Code.
