Tokyo Revengers Chapter 258 is eagerly anticipated by fans eager to learn the fate of Kakucho. Even so, the leaks from the last few days have confirmed this, but the sudden entrance of an ally that everyone has been anticipating since the beginning of this final struggle has overshadowed them. Angry has been defeated, and Mikey is now in commanding mode. There is no official confirmation yet, however, a number of anime websites have reported on the same thing. Draken’s voice actor will change this season, as many had expected.
Kakucho tried to save Takemichi by pushing him off of the train in the previous episode.
When Kakucho had a vision of Izana, he found the train’s brakes and stopped it. However, the Sanzu Katana cut was deeper than it seemed, and the combined impact of Kakucho’s exertion and blood loss resulted in the latter’s demise. Takemichi found his friend’s body towards the end of the chapter. As in the previous two weeks, the majority of the new chapter has been released without any context or explanation. Strange Bedfellows appears to be the working title for Tokyo Revengers Chapter 258.
Raw Scans of Tokyo Revenge Chapter 258
There are three parts to this spoiler. The first portion depicts the opening page of Chapter 258 of Tokyo Revengers, where Mikey has a deadpan face. This is followed by a scene in which Mikey yells instructions to his Kantou underlings. This suggests that Mikey has defeated Angry and is now staring at the train, which is what he presumably is doing. It’s not obvious if Mikey is unhappy at Sanzu for trying the idea in the first place, but he doesn’t seem shocked that it didn’t work. That he knew the conclusion in advance might mean that he was the second time-leaper or that the second time-leaper told him.
Takemichi breaks down in sorrow as he rushes to Kakucho’s motionless body. All evidence points to Kakucho’s death, which isn’t shocking but nevertheless terrible. To make matters worse for Takemichi, the legendary katana-wielding Sanzu takes advantage of the situation. A concerned Mitsuya approaches Takemichi with this information. Third-party readers have been both delighted and divided by the raw scans’ third section. A lone individual in a Toman uniform runs through the battlefield on a motorbike and strikes Sanzu, sparing Takemichi’s life. Dark hair with lighter streaks in it suggests they are either Kazutora Hanemiya or Taiju Shiba, depending on who you ask. While fans have been disagreeing over the person’s genuine identity, it is likely Taiju considering that Kazutora should still be spending his sentence in jail.
Speculations
The revelation of Kakucho’s death has given rise to rumours regarding the emotions of the S-62 Generation, notably the Haitani brothers, to this tragedy. Mikey overcoming Angry, if that is actually the case, is not unexpected, but the bout being performed totally off-screen would be disheartening given that they are two of the finest fighters in the series. Sanzu wanting to kill Takemichi is similarly expected. While some readers expected Hanma to emerge in the 258th Chapter of Tokyo Revengers, the raw scans hint at no such development.
The identity of the 2nd time-leaper is still uncertain, and it might be anyone between Sanzu, Mikey, and Hanma at this moment. It is practically impossible for Takemichi’s rescuer to be Kazutora considering that he should still be jailed. However, a jailbreak is an option to explore, and Kazutora would affect Mikey considerably more than Taiju plot-wise. The emergence of the eldest Shiba sibling, however, would make logical sense in consideration of his interactions with Mitsuya and Takemichi, and his bond with his younger brother Hakkai. Nevertheless, the official scans of Tokyo Revengers Chapter 258 will explicitly specify whether this new entrance is Kazutora, Taiju, or someone else altogether.
