Boruto Chapter 70 Summary
Shikamaru, Eida, Code, and Amado were all there as the chapter began, thus tensions were high. Naruto tried to run inside the room to help his colleagues, but he couldn’t get in fast enough. Shikamaru, on the other hand, cautioned him against imposing his will on the issue because he was in charge. Since Shikamaru want to improve her relationship with Kawaki, she invited Eida to visit Konoha. It was Shikamaru’s intention to quit supporting Code at that point. In spite of Code’s admonition not to consider it, Shikamaru’s advice swayed her.
Shikamaru was astounded when Eida learned Naruto was stranded outside, considering she had no means of knowing. She then reveals the Senrigan, which allows her to see everything in front of and behind her and even to go back in time. However, Shikamaru explains the ramifications of her actions and begs Eida to choose between harming Konoha or obeying the Code. Kawaki was resting in the ward and pondering his Karma powers when the situation changed.
