In addition to the text spoilers leaked throughout the week, One Piece Chapter 1053 raw scans began leaking late yesterday night. One Piece Chapter 1053’s raw scans reveal a slew of new details, including Ryokugyu’s character design and Luffy’s Gear Fifth wanted poster, among other things. The raw picture scans also seem to validate an intriguing character reveal that was hinted at in the text leaks. For One Piece Chapter 1053, the raw scans are an excellent way to get a taste of what’s to come.
Before the one-month break, the raw scans of One Piece Chapter 1053 present the chapter as an exciting cliffhanger. The raw scan photos for One Piece Chapter 1053 began leaking yesterday night on numerous forums and social media sites, as stated above. However, there are a few important panels and moments that need special attention in the chapter’s raws. For starters, the new Yonko has been shown. This seems to confirm that the system will remain the Yonko rather than grow into the Goko (Five Emperors). As a further confirmation, the raw scans reveal that Buggy was actually made the new Yonko alongside Luffy, rather than Law or Kid receiving the position.
New bounties for Law and Kid were also made public with Luffy, who appears to have a new wanted photo. Each of the three bounties is revealed to be worth 3 billion Berries in the photographs presented, with no noticeable variation in value. One unique aspect of Luffy’s bounty is that it depicts him in his Gear Fifth form rather than his usual one, which is rather intriguing. The Gear Second, Third, and Fourth forms of his photo have never been shown on any of his previous posters, thus this is definitely a novel technique for his poster. However, this appears to be the photo that will appear on his wanted posters in the future.
Fans can’t get enough of Ryokugyu, who debuts in this issue with a sleek new style. On the left pant leg of his black leather pants, there is a flowery design that covers virtually the whole leg. He’s shirtless, with a Japanese phrase tattooed vertically on his chest that stretches from his left shoulder to his torso. While his Devil Fruit abilities aren’t explicitly shown, it’s evident that they’re rooted in plants in some way. Roots may be seen on the Onigashima battlefield rummaging through bodies, draining them of nutrition and liquids, making them look to be zombified husks. Even the King and Queen are seen to be influenced by this talent, despite their apparent efforts to resist it. In this picture, the roots of Ryokugyu can be seen spreading out from his left palm.
As seen by the previous issue’s depiction of flowers growing on his back, it’s safe to assume that they can sprout from virtually anyplace on his body. In the raw scans of One Piece Chapter 1053, the Poneglyph and Robin’s conversation with Tenguyama Hitetsu is verified as the final big development. She’s in the Poneglyph chamber that Brook discovered earlier in the arc, perhaps under the Flower Capital’s palace. When Hitetsu arrives, she explains that Pluton appears to be located in Wano. The discussion that follows this revelation is unknown, but it appears to inspire Tenguyama Hitetsu into disclosing his actual identity as Kozuki Sukiyaki to the audience.
A previous shogun of Wano, Sukiyaki served as the father of Oden and grandfather of Momonosuke before handing the post to his son. He had long been rumoured to be dead, although this was clearly not the case. A second individual who is capable of deciphering the Poneglyphs has now been discovered. It’s also possible for Momonosuke Kozuki to learn the Poneglyph language from a Kozuki clan member. Tradition had it that Oden’s death, in One Piece Chapter 1053, ended this custom.
For Momonosuke, it provides an opportunity to leave the shogunate and join the Straw Hats. Yamato has already joined the crew, but while it’s improbable, the prospect of Momonosuke joining them does exist. Chapter 1053 of One Piece is an exciting issue to leave readers with before the one-month sabbatical, as depicted by the raw scans The recent revelations about the Wano arc in One Piece Chapter 1053 might lead to some dramatic narrative surprises when the series returns on July 24.
