Ikada has turned down Boruto’s offer to cease the escalating battle. Since Boruto is unable to sway his friend’s viewpoint, he takes a difficult decision in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” Episode 254. The official teaser trailer of Episode 254 depicts Boruto sobbing and revealing that even he is frightened of dying. But he is not the only one; he recalls all the individuals who gave up their lives in the war.
Boruto declares that they cannot allow this battle to continue and cost more innocent lives on both sides. In order to truly halt this cycle of hatred, someone has to take all the agony, and that someone is Boruto.
In the last episode of the series, members of Team 7 visited Ikada, who was fighting against the Land of Water. Boruto sought to encourage Ikada to cease the battle but the latter, coldly, rejected his appeals. “Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki to meet with Ikada, who has now allied against the Land of Water. Boruto attempts to talk to Ikada like a friend to urge him to stop fighting. But since Boruto is guilty for what happened to his sister Seiren, Ikada refuses to listen. Even still, Boruto continually attempts to reason with him.
