In anticipation of Tokyo Revengers Chapter 256, fans wanted to know if Sanzu was successful in his mission to eliminate the Toman leadership. Readers had been concerned about Kakucho’s destiny and Takemichi’s ability to stop the train in the previous chapter. No one expected to learn that there were further time-travellers. Despite the long-running fan discussion over whether Mikey or Hanma were time travellers, this unexpected confirmation surprised everyone. Izana and Takemichi had been Kakucho’s closest friends since he lost his whole family in an accident when he was young. In an effort to save Takemichi, Haruchiyo pulled out the katana, inflicting injury to Kakucho in the process. The King’s service
After taking a deep breath, Kakucho tells Takemichi he’ll be alright because the injury he sustained was just superficial. The only way Sanzu can get back on the train is if Takemichi is worried about his pal. His thoughts turn to Mikey’s safety, and he vows to protect him at all costs. As the day of or the day following Muto’s murder approaches, the narrative shifts into a flashback. He went looking for Mikey, who had been hiding since he disbanded Toman, and Haruchiyo found him. Haruchiyo acknowledged that Mikey may break up with him at any time, but he vowed to remain his lone supporter and vowed to remain faithful to him.
A vision of good fortune
His remembering is interrupted as Takemichi jumps on the train. Haruchiyo tells Takemichi that he didn’t tell anybody about the plot, and the two engage in hand-to-hand combat. To prevent Takemichi from having to answer, Kakucho emerges inside the compartment and steps in to stop the conflict from escalating further. When he orders Takemichi to focus on stopping the train, Takemichi cannot find the brake. Takemichi, on the other hand, has a vision of Sanzu approaching from behind and impaling him with his katana. Everyone is stunned as Takemichi evades Sanzu’s actual attack based on this warning.
Sanzu, taken aback by Takemichi’s acrobatic evasion, speculates that Takemichi may be a time traveller. Takemichi’s response to his question, “Are you a time leaper too?” suggests that Sanzu is either one of the other time leapers or is at least aware of their existence.
Sanzu is thrown out of the train by Kakucho because of his perplexity. He and Takemichi do their hardest to halt the train, but they can’t seem to find a way to get it out of the way. In the last panel of Tokyo Revengers Chapter 256, members of both gangs leap out of the path of an oncoming train.
For years, the fandom has hypothesised that Takemichi is not the only time traveller. Kisaki had been the first to come under suspicion, followed by Hanma and Mikey. However, Haruchiyo is also mentioned in Tokyo Revengers Chapter 256. There are many who believe Haruchiyo has been time-jumping to save Mikey, whom he regards as his monarch, and there are those who feel that Haruchiyo is simply an informant. Readers may believe that Mikey pushed Takemichi into the track in the first place because of a series of clues that lead to him as a possible time leaper.
There is some evidence that Takemichi is becoming more comfortable with his visions, as he even employs one in Tokyo Revengers Chapter 256. Although Takemichi’s secret is out, he has to come up with a solution to stop the conflict quickly. As for Takemichi and Kakucho, they’ll have to see whether they can save their companions before the train arrives at the battleground.
