In the locker room, they discuss tournament brackets and taunt each other with their impressive feats of physical power. The terrorist bombings in Glasgow, Scotland, have been claimed by an unknown group calling itself “The Worm,” according to a billboard in the background of the party. Concerned about the return of The Worm, the fighters display apprehension.
A member of Leonardo Silvia’s “gang bros” assures the group that this tournament is a ruse to combat The Worm, according to Leonardo Silvia. The next panel zooms in on Xia Yan, the Worm’s head, and Shen Wulong, the Connector, who appear to be listening intently to what Narushima Koga has to say behind them.
