Each new chapter of TBATE brings us closer to the show’s biggest conflict to date. Despite the fact that we are all aware of the Lances’ immense strength, Aldir and Windsom remain unfazed by it. In spite of his immense might, Aldir says it will be difficult to defeat Agrona of Vritra since he is an Asura like them who has broken the vow. Arthur, our teeny-tiny hero, has finally been freed from the council’s grasp. On this new journey, he will help the Asuras in their greatest war.
Elijah’s liberation from Draneeve’s control is his primary priority. A clearer image of the plot has emerged after so many chapters. Chapter 148 of The Beginning After the End will see everything coming together even more.
Chapter 148 The Date and Time of Release

A summary of TBATE Chapter 147
Arthur and Windsom are speaking in Arthur’s cell in the previous chapter. Windsom is confident in his ability to save the institution, but his personal safety must come first. It’s not clear to Windsom why Draneeve decided to bring Elijah along with him. When he gets out of here, Arthur says he doesn’t understand anything either, but that he intends to save himself. It will be a death mission for Arthur to get to Alacrya and rescue Elijah from there, Windsom tells him. Arthur was fortunate in that he arrived just after Draneeve had departed, otherwise, he would have been taken hostage for Vritra.
He also warns Arthur that even Asuras might not be able to protect him if they discover he possesses Sylvia and her daughter’s innate will. Windsom is discovered by Bairon as they are speaking in the jail. Bairon tries to attack him despite his knowledge that he is an intruder, but he is outmatched. On Bairon’s behalf, Varay apologises to him and informs him that Windsom is a deity. To get to the council room, Aldir and Windsom walk there, where Aldir outlines their goal.
He claims that they’ve come to help those who are more vulnerable in the fight against Vritra, and that’s why they’re here. According to Aldir, the fight has already begun, and the corrupted ones have already been destroyed. Blain is perplexed as to why they require their assistance in dealing with Vritra, given their superior might. As Aldir points out, Vritra and three other tribes under his control were all ex-Asuras who had broken the laws. A deal was made between the Asuras and Vritra clan that they would never assault the weaker species, he says. Vritra, on the other hand, isn’t afraid to break the law.
Black-horned demons have been attacking their house for a long time, and Arthur believes that one of their lances has been killed by one of the demons. That they are not Asuras is what Vritra claims. Rather, they are inferior creatures that have been subjected to numerous trials. They are, nevertheless, strong enough to take out even Dicathen’s most elite wizards. Aldir responds to Merial’s question regarding their odds of victory by pointing out that the Monsters are Vritra’s most powerful weapon. Having learned of his presence, they will no longer abuse them carelessly. Arthur asks Windsom where they’re heading at the end of the session. He says they’re going to Asuras, where he’ll get some instruction.
