What happens to KAIDO and BM?
Oda keeps the majority of the cast alive despite their doubts, but Kaido is determined to meet a nice end. Will he ever get another chance like this one? No, I doubt it. The tale isn’t going to revolve around him. If he is still capable of fighting, it is more appropriate for him to do seppuku and remain in the lava. It doesn’t make sense to keep him alive after his story arc is over. Agree with Big Mom’s plan to collect on the loan and use Kaido’s last remaining life force to build an hommie and go.
For a character that is yearning for a decent death, it makes sense to die rather than live.
Luffy’s Gear 5 Fate
After the first time Gear 5 wore off, Luffy looked like a raisin, so I’m sure the consequences will be considerably worse now, and we simply didn’t see it until this chapter because it wasn’t the emphasis. While the WG seeks to take over Wano, I still expect Luffy and Zoro to be out for the count for some time after this. It would be strange to see the Straw Hats gain Yonkou crew status while Usopp served as the team’s ambulance. Before Elbaf, Usopp and Big Mom should have a serious discussion regarding the Giants. It’s odd that Usopp’s Elbaf arc and Big Mom’s home town haven’t interacted yet. Nami, not Big Mom, is the one who has the most interaction with Lola and Chiffon. As a Yonkou crew member, Usopp is nowhere near as powerful as he should be. Elbaf’s storyline will certainly revolve around him.
