Project No. 9 is behind the romantic comedy Love After World Domination. In the wake of Desumi rejecting Diago’s invitation to join Gelato, you’d assume that everything would return to normal. In Love After World Domination Episode 8, the happy couple is being stalked by an unidentified assailant. An enigmatic item is delivered to Fudo in the opening moments of this week’s episode. As it turns out he and Desumi are depicted in the photo, with an accompanying menacing text. Fudo must now meet the person to understand what steps he needs to take to keep Desumi’s identity safe from prying eyes. However, Fudo isn’t sure what the masked assailant intends to do when he follows him.
The first part of Episode 8 of Love After World Domination dealing with Fudo and Desumi’s stalker is definitely in the “just fine” category. No genuine harm or risk to the pair is present, and the individual’s urge to intervene in their life is quickly addressed. As a result, it plays off the antagonist’s actions as if they were merely misplaced, which, although not ideal, is typical of the show’s humour-filled tone. A cram session for final exams is the focus of the second half of this episode, which features Desumi, Fudo, and Haru (Pink Gelato). Because she’s suffering so much to learn the material, Haru turns to her pals for support as she crams for her upcoming exams.
But as it turns out, being a teacher requires more than just knowledge. While Haru’s educational aspirations are at stake, the trio is taken on a misadventure in this second narrative. Aside from the sneaking of two Gelato members into Desumi’s dorm room, this chapter has a lot of the series’ signature charm and sweetness. I liked how this narrative humorously illustrates how much work it takes to be a good teacher, despite the fact that it never mentions it directly. It’s not as easy as it sounds to convey one’s knowledge in a way that another can understand, especially when it comes to areas like math and physics.
Teaching is a difficult task, and I’ve seen a lot of people struggle with it, so it was encouraging to see that it was recognised as such in this article. Everything about this episode’s silly shenanigans is brought vividly to life in Love After World Domination Episode 8. When it comes to Fudo and Haru’s wacky attempts to assist Haru to learn, the show’s aesthetics always maintain it appearing as absurd as the plot requires it to be.
To sum it up, Love After World Domination Episode 8 offers a couple of solid tales this week. With that being said, if you are a fan of the show’s wit and flair, there is nothing here that you will not find enjoyable.
Crunchyroll has the eighth episode of Love After World Domination available right now.
