There may never be a more contentious chapter of One Piece than Chapter 1050
A subsurface magma chamber underneath Wano’s mainland appears to be where the two impacted the ground with such force that they sank right through the soil. Cracks may be seen spilling out of the chamber into Wano’s waterfall basin, which could point to future changes. Within a few panels of the map, we see Kaido slicing through the magma chamber’s roof, followed by Yamato snatching Luffy out of the sky. After their fight, the narrator shows Kaido and Luffy both knocked out before announcing that the winner of their duel has been changed. Momo can be seen here as well, dozing out.
Wano residents continue to enjoy the Flower Festival although they are blissfully unaware that many of their wishes for independence and sovereignty have just been realised. At this point, Yamato is ecstatic, proclaiming that she can’t believe what the Straw Hats have done, and exclaiming that they really are something. Toko and Tenguyama Hitetsu watch the Sky Lanterns soar over the Fire Festival as the celebration draws to a close. Early in the festival, the audience sees a flashback of what happened earlier in the day. The first appears to inquire about the latter’s father. Toko claims to have overheard someone remark that Yasuie allowed himself to be captured and killed since he knew they would do it for his former standing and grandeur at the time.
A very shocked and saddened Tenguyama asks Toko why her father allowed himself to be caught in the first place. Before he says that Yasuie died to offer Wano one final opportunity at freedom, a flashback to Yasuie’s dying scene is revealed. He claims that the country’s “embers of hope” would have been extinguished if her father hadn’t made the sacrifice he did, and that he gave his life to ensure Wano’s future. Toko is shown eating the SMILE Fruit for the first time in a flashback, and Yasuie questions if she ate it or not. He eats it as a show of support for his daughter after discovering that she had eaten it. Tenguyama explains in the overarching flashback that Yasuie gave his life so that Toko may one day be happy. Tenguyama breaks down in tears as he realises how much his father gave up for her. She then adjusts her father’s sky lantern message to reflect this.
As her sky lantern message transforms from “I want to see you daddy” to “thank you, daddy,” he adds there is no higher honour for a samurai. It is clear to observe Toko and Tenguyama’s beaming expressions as they watch her sky light soar over the Flower Capital.
a triumph declaration and an apparent death in One Piece Chapter 1050 After that, One Piece Chapter 1050 takes us back to the landing site of Onigashima, where Nekomamushi is filled with nostalgia as he watches the sky lanterns float. Onigashima’s landing party is informed that Luffy has successfully drilled Kaido into the ground, ensuring their confidence in the former’s triumph. Onigashima has been safely landed by Momonosuke as well, according to him, thanks to the SMILE Fruit abilities of the latter. When the pink dragon turns out to be Momonosuke, the samurai express their disbelief, which is swiftly interrupted by Nekomamushi’s declaration of triumph.
The samurai, Scabbards, Law, and Kid are all seen on the Live Floor enjoying the news. As for Apoo, she has a look of amazement on her face in relation to Luffy’s triumph over Kaido.
We watch a riot of Straw Hats and Samurai as Usopp and Franky bring Okiku, Kin’emon, and Zoro to Chopper for his celebration. When the lattermost begins grumbling that too many victims are being brought in, Miyagi leaps in to aid him. Back in Onigashima, Momonosuke is seen calling out to Zunesha, informing him that he’s chosen not to open the gates just yet after considerable consideration. Zunesha says they’ll follow his direction because they trust his judgement. Thanks and apologises to them, before he notices an earthquake and wonders whether it’s real. With weapons drawn, Beast Pirate fodder bursts out of the woodwork, reminding their foes of their numerical superiority and their willingness to battle. As tension rises between the two sides, they express their dismay in Kaido’s loss, when Yamato abruptly steps in.
During the battle, she points out to the Beast Pirates that their lives had already been spared once, when their opponent had just saved them by ensuring that Onigashima made it to safety. This appears to settle the situation for the time being, as she then declares that she would personally fight anyone who is still seeking to stir problems. In a zoomed-out image of Onigashima, more speech bubbles mentioning the likelihood of an earthquake can be seen, as in One Piece Chapter 1050. As a result, Big Mom and Kaido are shown to be entirely immersed in magma under the surface. One Piece Chapter 1050 then switches to Udon jail, where Babanuki’s soldiers are reporting weird ocean activity. Luffy’s triumph has been declared by the narrator in the form of a gigantic volcanic eruption from an undersea volcano.
While Babanuki and his comrades are shown reacting in disbelief, Luffy is snoozing peacefully on his bed. Citizen Kaido and his henchmen in the Flower Capital have been suspicious of this incident as well. Upon initially seeing Momonosuke, the countrymen mistakenly assume him to be Kaido, and he quickly calms them down. Once they learn that he is not the Yonko and that their former tyrant’s downfall caused the explosion and noise they’re hearing, the terrified citizens calm down. Momonosuke transforms into a human shape in a puff of smoke, and Hiyori walks out of the chapter’s last pages. There are jokes about her attractiveness, as well as the fact that she’s a ghost or a fake, making it impossible to be a fake. People immediately recognise Denjiro as Kyoshiro and inquire as to what happened to his pompadour. In the final panel of One Piece Chapter 1050, he introduces the new shogun of Wano, who is likely Momonosuke, to the group’s tale. Chapter 1050 of One Piece has announced that the series would not be taking a vacation next week.
