Recap of Episode 7
While Arisugawa and Misaki are having fun at the Gelato shop, Daigo is busy preparing dinner for Fudo. When Misaki asks Daigo whether he’s looking for someone to spend the rest of his life with, the latter responds by saying that romantic ties in the workplace are strictly forbidden. Daigo notices that Fudo is working on an exchange dairy when he serves dinner to him. Fudo collapses to the ground as he hears Desumi’s name. Fudo, upon reawakening, inquires as to why he fainted upon hearing the name Deumi. Even the mention of Desumi causes Fudo to shake, making him wonder why. When Daigo was a student at a Dojo, he was the best student in the school. Desumi, a seven-year-old newcomer, joins the Dojo. Daigo is asked to look after Desumi by the master of the Dojo. Afterwards, Daigo informs her about the Dojo and challenges her to a fight.
Daigo’s life flashes before his eyes when Desumi hits him in the belly. While his legs were shaking, Desumi told her that he was the first person to not break after taking her hit, and when he was asked whether or not she may strike him again he told her that that was enough for the day. Because he lost to a 7-year-old, Daigo’s Master is shutting the Dojo. When Desumi becomes upset since she was the reason the Dojo was shuttered, Daigo offers to train her. A man on the run, Daigo faces Desumi for the last time before leaving for Tokyo due to his parent’s divorce. He promptly loses, and thus begins his life as an exile in Tokyo. Since Desumi is in Tokyo, he hopes to engage her for the Gelato 5.
After seeing Desumi in a cafe, Fudo approaches her and invites her to join him in the Gelato 5. She appreciates the offer, but she refuses it. Daigo challenges Desumi to a duel as a way to cope with his trauma and because he believes she is now weaker as a result of witnessing her in love. He threatens her, saying that if she fails, she’ll have to leave Fudo and join Gelato 5. She immediately beats him after hearing this. Daigo informs her that he let her win as he leaves, trembling. Desumi worries about their relationship on the way back because virtually everyone knows about it and they need to be on their guard.
The release date of Love After World Domination Episode 8
“Everybody Has a Secret or Two” is the title of the eighth episode of Love After World Domination, which will premiere on May 27, 2022. While the episode is scheduled to air at 21:30 JST (Japanese Standard Time). Desumu and Fudo were the subjects of an attempted photo op at the end of episode seven.
