HoYoverse, the team behind Genshin Impact, is hard at work on a completely new IP, Zenless Zone Zero, and it already has a great first impression. It has a similar spirit and appearance as Genshin and is set in Tokyo, where players take on Ethereal, monster creatures from another dimension, in an urban atmosphere. Aside from being a brilliant nod to the iconic sci-fi anime Neon Genesis Evangelion, New Eridu is the only city to survive Ethereal’s destruction and is the setting for the whole game. Is the game planned for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch? Learn more about HoYoverse’s latest project and whether or not it will be available on the aforementioned consoles by reading this article.
Zone Zero’s first impressions are mixed
Zenless Zone Zero’s graphic design is reminiscent of Persona 3’s and has adorable anime-like characters, so we can assume the gameplay will be just as entertaining. The Ethereal must be annihilated and the cosmos restored to peace by all means necessary as a proxy. There’s a considerable probability that HoYoverse will employ a gacha system similar to Genshin Impact, in which players may pay real-world money to unlock the game’s strongest characters. Make sure to keep in mind that HoYoverse hasn’t officially verified this.
The game’s launch date
HoYoverse has not yet announced a release date for Zenelss Zone Zero, as the game is currently in early development. To participate in the closed BETA PC and iOS versions, however, you must first go to the game’s official site.
Is it coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch platforms?
While the game’s refining is presently taking place, it is not yet known if Zenless Zone Zero will be released on any other platforms beyond PC and iOS. It’s only a matter of time until it makes its way to other platforms, so don’t worry. As with Genshin Impact, we anticipate Zenless Zone Zero making its way to the aforementioned platforms in the near future, including PC, Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. Xbox owners will be unable to play the game, it appears. The release date of the next action RPG will be announced as soon as we receive it officially.
