This episode of One Piece finally arrived, although some fans may be dissatisfied. For the last several episodes, the anime has mostly focused on the rooftop. Fans, for the most part, seem unfazed. It’s safe to say that Roof Piece has been a big draw for anime enthusiasts. The Skull Dome has been the scene of a bloody duel. Neither Kaido nor Big Mom expected such strong resistance from the Worst Generation.
In One Piece Episode 1018, there is a lot of unnecessary fluff. At least, that’s how it feels throughout most of the first half of the episode. That being said, it’s possible that Toei Animation is keeping their best work for the upcoming episode.
One Piece 1018: Luffy unleashes a barrage of lethal punches
As in the last episode, Luffy picks up just where he left off. Gear Fourth blows from Gomu Gomu no Kong Gatling continue to be used against Kaido. This entire sequence, which includes still photographs of people’s reactions, lasts a long time. This time, though, it just lasts a few minutes. Straw Hat, on the other hand, succumbs to exhaustion and falls to the ground. Zoro pursues his leader immediately. The remaining members of the Worst Generation are understandably alarmed by the news that they have lost a member. To Big Mom’s amusement, they divert their focus to her own woes. Trafalgar Law uses Counter Shock on her in a matter of seconds. That’s the first time she’s been really hurt in a battle, as shown in One Piece 1018.
As shown in One Piece 1018, Kaido launches an attack in response
Kaido would not be able to lay down for long. He unleashes devastating tornadoes with his Tatsumaki strike. In the process, Eustass Kid and his massive mecha robot are disassembled. Luffy has swept away in a torrential downpour, on his way to Kaido’s jaws. Zoro is able to save him before he is devoured. Kokujo: O Tatsumaki, the swordsman’s particular technique, allows him to slash through the dragon’s scales. Kaido is shocked to learn that Zoro is wielding Enma, Oden’s sword.
Tatsumaki Kaifu is a more powerful form of the dragon’s previous attack, which he uses next. It becomes impossible for the Worst Generation to avoid the wind blades as they start flying in different directions.
There are some figures to be crunched in One Piece Episode 1018
The programme then shifts focus to the CP0 agents shortly after Kaido’s violent strikes. They talk about the events of the Onigashima Raid, especially the decapitation of Orochi. The main CP0 agent determines that the conflict is still one-sided after summing up the figures. There were 30,000 members of the Beasts Pirates, but just 3,000 remain. Some of this was Queen’s fault because he used the Ice Oni virus indiscriminately.
Meanwhile, the coalition has 5,400 samurai, and 400 have already been killed. Even though Kaido’s hybrid form was hardly visible, the episode ended with a fleeting glimpse of it. As time goes on, both Yonko is having a good time.
Afterthoughts on One Piece 1018
Straw Hats in Wano Country has pushed Toei Animation to a new level in terms of quality and production. In the Onigashima Raid, we see some of the most aesthetically spectacular sequences ever produced in an anime series. It’s not just the strong lines and brilliant colours that pique the interest of the audience, but rather the activity.
Unfortunately, One Piece Episode 1018 seemed more like a rest. This episode suffered from an overreliance on static imagery and a dearth of dynamic animation. In the hopes that the next one would be much more intriguing. The Yonko continue to dominate the Worst Generation. As if nothing had happened, these beasts fought on as if nothing had ever happened. Despite this, the members of the Worst Generation performed admirably.
