Code attempted to capture Amado in order to remove his limiters and Eida appeared to enchant everyone in Boruto Chapter 69 after Boruto’s recuperation from his battle with Code. All of this included Shikamaru and brainwashed Delta, both of whom were smitten with Eida and wanted to help Konoha in return for seeing Kawaki. As well as dealing with Sasuke, Sarada, and Mitsuki’s feelings of inadequacy, the episode saw Kawaki awaken and have a brief conversation with Naruto before they were notified of the unfolding emergency. At this point, it looks like time is running out to thwart Amado’s evil plan.

The cover art was one of the first pieces of information to emerge. Just Amado relaxing, a stark contrast to the chapter’s dramatic events, and the title approximately translates to “from the bottom of one’s heart/my heart.” This is a strong indication that the narrator is revealing something really personal, as individuals only say it when they’re genuinely concerned about something personal. In light of Eida’s adoration for Kawaki and the several parties involved? If Amado has any more information to provide or if anything else is uncovered, this might go the villain’s way.
Daemon appears to be present as the wicked trio stands over Shikamaru and lookss to be gloating in other leaked panels. After all, it appears that Code was able to “convince” the good doctor to unlock his limiters and allow himself to reach full capacity. For the heroes, that’s bad news indeed. As a result, Shikamaru had Ino reprogramme the door codes in order to prevent Eida’s abilities from seizing everyone. Even as Sasuke and Boruto approach, some fans believe he should simply tear down the door.
There are those who believe he can, and those who believe he shouldn’t since doing so would put Naruto in danger of Eida’s abilities gaining control of him. The chapter looks to be either a continuation of the war as theorised or a closure to the tense standoff for now, with Amado getting tugged through one of Code’s zippers/spikes in reality and Kawaki heading to help the heroes. As for Shikamaru’s whereabouts, we’ll have to wait until the next chapter is published to find out.
