Horror games have a unique quality that keeps us on our toes, and the satisfaction of surviving makes them enjoyable. Scream-inducing scares await you in Sker Ritual, one of the forthcoming survival horror games that has supernatural abilities and steampunk weaponry, as well as scary supernatural monsters hell-bent on hunting you down. Playability and visuals have been improved upon, making it a worthy successor to the award-winning horror hit Maid of Sker. We all secretly wish that games like Sker Ritual, which arouses intense fear in players, will be launched on Nintendo Switch because having it on a portable platform is enticing.
Is it going to be available on the Nintendo Switch? To learn more about Sker Ritual and whether or not it will be coming to the Nintendo Switch, please continue reading this article.
Sker Ritual: An introduction
As seen by the videos, Wales Interactive’s Sker Ritual looks gorgeous yet eerie, and the intense gameplay does appear like something I’d like to play. Teaming up with a maximum of four other players is an option if you’re finding it difficult to survive on your own. In addition, there are a plethora of skills and weapons available in the game, allowing players to react to the current scenario and alter their strategy as necessary.
In terms of level design, graphics, and general horror vibes, this game reminded me a lot of DOOM and Lust from Beyond, two of my previous favourite indie games. There are a variety of miracles that may be employed to enhance your abilities as you continue through the game, and each one is unique. The Laughing Policeman’s Booth is a place where you may improve your weapons, and you can also boost your weapon rankings by applying upgrades for further buffs and enhancements.
Is there a launch date for the game in mind?
If you’re looking for a good co-op horror game, this one looks like a good fit. Sker Ritual’s release date is still a mystery thanks to Wales Interactive. According to the game’s Steam website, it will be released in the Summer of 2022. This post will be updated as soon as the developers give us an official release date.
Is the Nintendo Switch version on the way?
While we appreciate the enthusiasm for Sker Ritual among fans of Maid of Sker, it will be unavailable on the Nintendo Switch due to technical issues that prevent it from operating at a reasonable framerate. Devs will have to eliminate features to fit the game inside the Switch, which isn’t optimal for them and isn’t worth the risk for the game. We’ll keep you updated as soon as possible if it ever does come out.
