Speculations & Expectations
A trustworthy source has not yet disclosed any One Piece Chapter 1049 spoilers, as previously stated Fan expectations for the next issue remain high, though, due to a few key developments. A direct clash between Luffy and Kaido’s recent strikes is the first and most obvious incident that fans might expect. Both characters appear to be preparing for their ultimate showdown, which will most likely take place in the next upcoming issue or the one after that.
Since Momonosuke will finally start making his own flame clouds in the forthcoming issue, fans should also expect this. The Wano arc and the Onigashima Raid can’t be resolved without his usage of these weapons, especially when it comes to the safety of the people of the Flower Capital. Finally, Kaido’s full-length flashback is expected to begin in the following issue or two of the series. Throughout the Onigashima Raid thus far, certain bits of it have been teased, hinting that a full-length glimpse would be approaching.
A lack of his history will leave fans unhappy, as they’ve been anticipating it for years. The Onigashima Raid and the Wano storyline appear to be coming to a conclusion with One Piece Chapter 1049. There appears to be no stopping Luffy and Kaido from launching their heaviest attacks on one another, which means the fight is over. Onigashima, a floating island, is the most important issue to deal with right now. After Kaido’s death in Chapter 1048, Momonosuke was still not expressly stated as having started manufacturing flame clouds to replace Kaido’s.
To ensure the safety of the Flower Capital, Momonosuke will most likely have to begin producing flame clouds in a few issues. To stay up to date on all things One Piece in the year 2022, be sure to follow all of the many media outlets that will be covering the franchise.
