Due to the Golden Week festivities in Japan, One Piece chapter 1048 will be released at a later date and time. For the One Piece series, it has seemed as if everything has been coming together again in recent months. An increase in the quality of the anime has been seen since last year’s adaptation reached 1000 episodes; video games and feature films are also starting to get their hype trains rolling.
After last week’s notable absence from our usual Sunday viewing plans, the focus has shifted back to the original manga series. One Piece chapter 1048 was postponed due to Japan’s Golden Week, however, new publication date and time have been announced online. Delaying One Piece Chapter 1048 for the Golden Week was originally meant to be a one-time occurrence. Due to last week’s hiatus, the May 1st publishing date of the One Piece manga series was delayed. To be fair, the Golden Week holiday in Japan necessitated a vacation for the whole Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, not just one particular series.
The time between April 29th and May 6th, known as “Golden Week,” is one of the busiest in Japan during the year.
As part of Golden Week, there are four national holidays: Showa Day (the birthday of the late Emperor Showa), Constitutional Memorial Day, Greenery Day (a celebration of nature and the environment), and Children’s Day (a celebration of children) (praying for the health of all children). One Piece’s publisher, Weekly Shonen Jump, is one of the numerous businesses that close for the Golden Week celebrations to allow staff to partake in the festivities.

In other good news, the One Piece manga publication will not be adversely affected by the Golden Week break for long. This Sunday, May 8th, One Piece chapter 1048 will be released by Viz Media. After that, the next chapter will be released in English around the globe at the following times via Viz Media and Manga Plus:

Chapter 1048: SPOILERS ARE LEAKED TO THE INTERNET

Due to leaks, chapter 1048 was trending on social media a week before its release, which is something every One Piece manga fan knows all too well. There is a big segment of the fanbase that eagerly awaits any and all spoilers, while others try their best to keep their eyes peeled for the latest news.
On May 3rd, OPspoiler tweeted out the spoilers for One Piece chapter 1048. Onigashima continues to be moved by Kaidou, as stated in the article, and the chapter starts with Luffy battling to protect Momonosuke from him.
In a flashback to Oden’s death, we witness Kaidou and Orochi’s rule enslaving much of the surviving people and slaughtering demonstrators, including Oden’s wife.
Most shockingly, Denjiro makes a triumphant return, as he proceeds to lop off the skull of Orochi. Orochi’s dying wishes may be seen above, despite the fact that “Orochi has not yet been proven dead,” as early teasers here said. As the chapter comes to a finale, the people of Wano release their lanterns into the sky in celebration of Kaidou and Luffy’s rematch. Leaked spoilers, it should be noted, should only help to heighten interest in upcoming manga releases throughout the world.
