In episode 1016, there was a lot of brawling. It all pales in comparison to what One Piece Episode 1017 has in store. The most important thing we learned from the last episode was just how far our characters have progressed and where they are in relation to Kaido and Big Mom.
What’s the point of a fight if the chances aren’t in your favour? Each of the five main characters assembles a small team to take against Kaido. Zoro joins forces with Killer, while Luffy pairs up with the other captains. At the same time, Sanji is still fighting Black Maria and trying to do so without hurting her physically or emotionally.
The 1017th episode of One Piece
There will be a full-scale battle between Luffy, Law, Zolo, Kid, and Killer and their two sea emperors in One Piece Episode 1017 titled “The Battle of the Monsters! The Three Stubborn Captains!” Chapters 1001 through 1003 of the manga might be included. Those chapters were full-on battles with little or no pause in the plot.
Kaido morphs into a benevolent dragon, similar to Shenron, as soon as Luffy, Kid, and Law attack him. From that moment on, the fight doesn’t go their way; Big Mom starts pounding hard as well. However, despite their attempts, Kaido’s transformation into a dragon has no effect on them. After Kaido, Killer and Zoro take on Kaido. Although the assassin is immediately taken down, Zorro manages to strike a big hit on Kaido, leaving Big Mama and Kaido afraid of him.
After that, the combat turns dramatically, and Big Mom kills everyone with lightning. Lightning has no effect on Luffy because he is made of rubber, and this is where the episode may come to a conclusion. One Piece’s adaptation of the text into graphics is fantastic, and that will be reason enough to see the episode.
