Adapted from the manga series by Atsushi Ohkubo, Fire Force follows Shinra Kusakabe, a third-generation pyrokinetic adolescent who has earned the nickname “Devil’s Footprints” for his ability to set his feet ablaze whenever he wants to do so. Shinra was ostracised as a child for starting the fire that killed his mother and younger brother Sho.
Shinra eventually joins Special Fire Force Company 8 and finds himself in the company of other pyrokinetics who are dedicated to putting an end to the Infernal attacks once and for all. Shinra’s mother and younger brother Sho were killed in the fire. Firm 1 through Company 7 is also being investigated for possible wrongdoing among their ranks, according to the company. The premiere date for Fire Force Season 3 has not yet been confirmed.
