It has been a long time since the latest episodes of One Piece have been released, but the wait is worth it. This was demonstrated again by the response to One Piece Episode 1015, which finally featured the adaptation of the widely awaited “Roof Piece” from the manga. Not unexpectedly, fans have pushed the anime to the top of the charts by declaring the most recent episode to be the greatest in the series thus far!
Adapted on the One Piece manga’s Chapter 1000, which has long been considered to be the greatest part of Eiichiro Oda’s work, One Piece Episode 1015 is the last episode of the series. During his struggle against Kaidou, Luffy was finally able to enter Gear 3 for the first time, which was a welcome sight for fans. Additionally, the episode included Luffy’s new strike, Gomu Gomu no Red Roc, which effectively slammed Kaidou into the ground, forcing him to bleed profusely. Luffy vows once more that he is the guy who will ascend to the position of Pirate King.
It all came together to create a visually gorgeous episode, and fans can’t stop gushing over One Piece Episode 1015.
Another thing that fans were eager to applaud was Megumi Ishitani’s outstanding directing in One Piece Episode 1015. Even though Ishatani had previously worked on episodes 957 and 982 of the show, many people consider that Episode 1015 is her greatest work to date. Production on One Piece Episode 1015 was initially scheduled to begin earlier this month, but the episode’s release date was delayed owing to the Toei Animation breach that occurred earlier in March.
After being compelled to take an indefinite halt, the anime was among several others to do so. Unfortunately, One Piece did not return to the air until later in April, but the new episodes demonstrated that the wait had been well worth it. Next week, fans can look forward to a new special episode of their favourite show. Even though no specifics have been given regarding the upcoming episode, it is scheduled to air on May 1. The title of One Piece Episode 1016 is “Battle of Monsters!” Three Captains Stubborn to Each Other (“Kaibutsu Kessen! Ijihariau San Sencho”) will premiere on May 8, 2022, on the Japanese television network NHK.
