The long-awaited One Piece Chapter 1047 is now available, and it is yet another emotional rollercoaster ride from series creator Eiichiro Oda. When chapter 1046 ended with Luffy using his Devil Fruit powers to capture a lightning bolt to strike Kaido, fans anticipated this week’s chapter to continue the fight and get closer to the conclusion of the conflict, which it didn’t. It was one of the most tightly packed chapters, covering a lot of events at once, even though there wasn’t as much action as in the past several huge Luffy against Kaido ones.
With Momonosuke’s 20-year-old reminiscence, the people of Flower Capital’s Fire Festival coming to an end, and Luffy vs. Kaido roaring on, this week’s One Piece chapter delivered yet again. At this time in the Wano Country arc, one of the most important storylines revolves on Momonosuke, the future shogun. Meanwhile, Momonosuke has his own problems to bear as the whole island of Onigashima is on a collision course with the Flower Capital, and the Yonko is on his final legs. With Luffy’s struggle, this is the arc’s most pressing issue at the time, and it’s apparent why. In any case, both Orochi’s Kazenbo and the Yonko Big Mom have already been slain.
Fire has been put out in the castle, and all of Kaido’s subordinates are out of harm’s way as well. To prevent Onigashima from crumbling, Luffy must battle Kaido and Momonosuke. The day Kozuki Oden was executed, Oda revealed more of Momonosuke’s life than he had ever shared with fans. Even though Momonosuke is the shogun of the land, Oda once again reminded us that he is merely an eight-year-old boy who can only bear so much weight on his shoulders.
Despite this, Momonosuke feels compelled to follow in his father’s footsteps and strive to be the strong leader on whom the country can rely. It wasn’t until Momonosuke was nearly 20 years old that he took on the responsibility of raising his family’s Kozuki clan, even though he was still too young to bear its weight. The most action-packed portion of the chapter came straight after and continued up where Chapter 1046 ended. By flinging the lightning towards Kaido, Luffy continued his battle with the Yonko. Even though Kaido was on the verge of death, he was able to compete with Luffy in a fight that was nothing short of astounding.
At this point, it should be remembered that he is not only battling Luffy, but he is also carrying an entire island on his back thanks to his Devil Fruit strength. When Yonko employed his “Destroyer of Death: Thunder Bagua technique,” Luffy’s Gear 5th struggled against him, despite its own strength. However, Kaido’s discussion of Haki was the most significant part of the chapter. He claims that while Luffy’s Devil Fruit is spectacular, it won’t make him any more powerful than he already is. Ultimately, Luffy will have to take his Haki to the highest degree in order to get the ultimate amount of strength that Haki can provide him. Fans also learned that Roger never had a Devil Fruit power, and that he and Haki sailed the oceans together.
Attack on Onigashima reaches its apex
As early as Act I of Wano, it was clear that the Fire Festival would play a significant part in the story’s development. It was stated in Act 2 that the lanterns will eventually fly over the Flower Capital and light up the sky as a homage to the deceased. Even while it may appear to be merely a normal storyline progression in One Piece chapter 1047, the inhabitants of the Flower Capital ultimately lit up the sky with their lanterns in the following few chapters, which might have a significant impact on either Momonosuke or Luffy. Wano’s climax hangs over the arc as the Fire Festival draws to a conclusion. Due to the significance of the dawn, Kaido must have lost to Luffy by the time it comes to light.
They also appear to be poised to put a stop to the raid on Onigashima at the same moment. It is now time for the samurai to wait for their destiny as Luffy versus Kaido heads toward its conclusion. As usual, Oda’s chapter was jam-packed with information, but Luffy’s use of what looks to be his ultimate Gear 5 technique at the close of the chapter was the highlight. Nika fruit’s elasticity allowed Luffy to form a fist the size of Onigashima that was covered with high-level Armament and Conqueror’s Haki. In order to deal with Kaido once and for all, Luffy instructed Momonosuke to move Onigashima out of the way so that Luffy could finish him off. Of course, only time will tell if this can be accomplished. While Luffy’s ultimate strike appears to be ready, the chapter ended with a shocking twist. Momonosuke’s moment has come to shine and move Onigashima out of Luffy’s path so that Kaido may finally be taken out of the equation.
