Recap of the second episode of Love After World Domination
According to a shonen novel with the same title, “Love After Global Domination” recounts the unexpected courtship of “Gelato 5” hero Fudo Aikawa and Desumi Magahara, the evil queen of the organisation “Gecko,” as they struggle for world peace. Only when they’re under the watchful eye of someone else are they foes. They break away from combat to snap a photo together in episode two, but Desumi adores Fudo so much that he pretends to be defeated when one of his friends comes.
Following the advice of an intoxicated buddy, Desumi later invites Fudo out, which ends up becoming a meeting at the gym. It’s fortunate that the pair decides to merely enjoy each other’s company when responsibility doesn’t need them to be adversaries. It’s hard to deny that Hellko, Desumi’s cat, is one of the episode’s highlights, and who wouldn’t want a pet like that?
