There is a new character introduced in Tokyo No. 2 who appears more fascinating than the surface level suggests.
Where can I read Chapter 182 of Jujutsu Kaisen?
With each new episode, the tale of Jujutsu Kaisen grows more and more engaging as it incorporates meta-commentary and thought-provoking bits into the main game. It’s not too late to catch up on what’s been released so far in Viz Media’s Jutsu Kaisen manga; the next chapter will be released on April 22nd of the following year.
Commentary on Shueisha and the Manga Business
Gege Akutami, the mastermind of Jujutsu Kaisen, is a person who is cloaked in mystery. Gender, age, and even their genuine name are all kept a secret. On a live broadcast, they disguised themselves as mechanical men to avoid being seen. Until now, Gege has never divulged or exhibited any desire in disclosing their personal lives to the Japanese public. Fans’ confusion has only grown after the debut of Jujutsu Kaisen. Shonen Jump magazine, Shueisha’s flagship publication, is featured in the first paragraph of the chapter.
That Shueisha and Shonen Jump exist in this reality, as well as the fact that the manga’s creator is a foreigner who claims to have been born in France but grew up in Japan, is the weird aspect of the dialogue. As far as we know, this is the first time a mangaka has ever been involved in a shounen manga. That’s not even taking into account the fact that they’ve kept their identity a secret from the broader public. Gege, the mangaka behind the Jujutsu Kaisen series, is intriguing to speculate about. Creators like Gege are discouraged from incorporating such outlandish concepts into their stories because of conjecture like this.
Charles Bernard, a manga enthusiast who hopes to publish his own manga, is the focus of this episode. He is, however, politely denied since his work borders on plagiarism and may be better suited to an older audience. The management hates it when a character’s finger is bent unnaturally. Charles lashed out at the manager because his manga couldn’t be published, and he was very upset about it. In the present day, we see Charles riding a Ferris wheel with another person.
Culling game will permanently affect the planet, a clever remark on the current discussions about the widespread epidemic in the actual world. Unlike a manga hero, Charles advises the other person that he needs a valid cause to participate in the culling game. When someone labels Charles an “evil otaku,” it’s a certain way to go off a murderous rampage.
Okkotsu Wins the Race
We also see Okkotsu chatting to Ishigoori about how lenient he is towards his adversary, as he spares Ishigoori and Uro in exchange for their points in the last episode. Now that Okktosu has surpassed the 200-point mark, he has risen to the top of the Sendai Colony and the culling game as a whole. It’s going to be very intriguing to watch where Charles takes the culling game and what his original objective is. It seems like the previous chapter had a lot of interesting meta-commentary that seemed to give the comic a new flavour.
