Takahiro Wakamatsu drew Hiroshi Noda’s manga series Love After World Domination. Kodansha’s manga Monthly Shnen Magazine has been serialising it since October 2019, with four tankbon volumes of the manga being released. In April 2022, a television series adaptation of the anime was released. As of this writing, Love After World Domination Episode 1 appears to be a beautiful romantic comedy with the potential to be humorous. The anime is based on a shonen manga of the same name and promises intrigue, comedy, and a lot of uncomfortable love scenes.
The plot of the Love After World Domination
Love After World Domination: Project No. 9 is a love story in the style of an anime. Red Gelato and Freezing Gelato 5’s leader Fudou. It is up to Fudou and the Gelatos to protect mankind against evil gangs like Gekko, who seek to conquer the world. Fudou, on the other hand, is immediately taken with Desumi (the Reaper Princess), whom Gekko has hired as a new agent. Is it possible for two people who must stand against each other for the destiny of the world to be in love and no one knows it in Love After World Domination Episode 1?
There are zany shenanigans and over-the-top romantic moments in Love After World Domination’s core elements, just as the narrative structure would predict Stumbling through the first dates of two clumsy persons who are more comfortable on the battlefield executing grandiose super talents is not an easy task for these two. Love After World Domination Episode 1 includes a few notable moments that indicate hope for the future writing of the series despite the overwhelming predictability of the narrative. Seeing Fudou seek “permission” from Professor Gelato to ask Desumi out was very entertaining.
My only real issue with the first season of this show is the main vocal pairing. It’s a touch too heavy-handed in this article when it comes to the awkwardness of a newlywed couple. However, Desumi’s freak-out at holding Fudou’s hand on their third date, even for comic reasons, seems a little far-fetched, particularly for a character who dresses like Emma Frost in her Hellfire Club days.
First Episode of Love After World Domination
Immediately following the end of Episode 1, Fudo and Desumi are already on a date and eager to open up about their emotions for one other. The real question is, how did these sworn enemies get there in the first place? What the first episode sets out to do is just that: do it in the most gloriously ridiculous manner possible. Even though it’s very early in the series, Love After World Domination looks like a sweet love story. Rather than relying on the “enemies to lovers” trope, it instead presents a narrative about two people who are already enemies and lovers – how will they manage this? Keep an eye on the news!
