After witnessing Karasuno High play volleyball on television, Shy Hinata, a little but tenacious middle schooler, gets enamoured with the sport, only to learn that no one else at his school shares his enthusiasm. When he persuaded a number of his classmates to join him on a team in order to play in a competition, his middle school career came to an end. Even though redheaded Hinata possesses an exceptional vertical jump, they suffer a crushing loss at the hands of Tobio Kageyama, called “The King of the Court,” and his men.
Overview
Having worked hard and earned her way into Karasuno High School, Hinata is finally accepted. Then he learns that Kageyama, his brand-new rival, is suddenly a buddy, which only serves to further embarrass him. The school’s volleyball team is in rebuilding mode, and these two newcomers, despite their hostility toward one another, have a deadly quick-strike combination that might help the volleyball team regain its previous popularity on the field.
Amidst the four seasons, rivalries between schools grow more pronounced, new players are brought on board, and training camps are attended.
The teams compete in competitions that put both the players and their teammates to the test and elicit emotions that can only come from the most thrilling sporting events. Fans are eager to learn more about the forthcoming fifth season after the long-awaited fourth season came to an end. As of now, this is all we have to go on.
It’ll be out on DVD/blu-ray in what time frame?
“Haikyuu!!” had its first three seasons published in 2014, 2015, and 2016. Crunchyroll reports that there was a long break between the third and fourth seasons, with the fourth season being announced only in late 2018 according to Crunchyroll’s source. First, the show will run from January to April 2020, and then again from October to December 2020 in two separate parts (or courses). As of this writing, there has been no word from Production I.G. on whether or not they plan to release a fifth season of the anime.
Haikyu! official !’s English-language Twitter account said that, after Crunchyroll released the last episode, the “anime crew” had been praised and expressed excitement for more episodes to come. A fifth season is expected to be released at some point in the future, according to this. A significant pause between the third and fourth seasons has left many fans wondering whether there would be yet another delay before Season 5 is announced. It is also believed by Monsters & Critics that this previous delay was driven by internal factors, such as the requirement for important personnel to complete other projects.
Season 4 of “Haikyuu!” will premiere in January 2020, based on the renewal in December 2018 and the January 2020 premiere date. If this is indeed the instance, then we may expect a Season 5 announcement to be made within the next 12-13 months (possibly in a split-cour format, again). At the Tokyo Games, this year’s anime theme music was played during a volleyball match, which is a consolation for disappointed fans. The property is still being used after all these years.
As of yet, the Season 5 Plot of Haikyuu Has Not Been Revealed
It’s based on Haruichi Furudate’s manga series, which will be concluded in 2020 with Chapter 402 & Volume 45. The 4th season came to an emotional and victorious end with Chapter 292, but there are still a lot of narratives to tell. In Season 5, the team will compete at the garbage dump, where they will square off against Nekoma in one match. According to the manga, there will be a slew of more fights, some of which have enormous stakes. To put it simply, a slew of gorgeously drawn volleyballs is on the road… The Little Giant, the player who started it all for Hinata, is also on the agenda.
