Season 4 of Overlord is set to premiere in July 2022. The release date for the anime series, as well as the second trailer, was also announced. The trailer gives a brief overview of the story. A young guy resolves to confront the Witch King because he believes he has nothing else to lose. To be a more effective combatant, he must improve his skills. The only way to stand up to Ainz Ooal Gown, the Lich Ruler of the Wizarding Realm, is to form an alliance with the Theocracy.
In this narrative, Ainz Ooal Gown (also known as Momonga) gets sent to a famous online game called YGGDRASIL when its servers fall down, causing him to become trapped there. Momonga embarks on a journey around the world in order to discover what occurred. The anime series will be a continuation of the third season of the television show. For this new episode, all of the previous season’s cast members are reprising their roles. Among those who have contributed to this project are Satoshi Hino (voice AinzOoal Gown), Yumi Hara (Albedo), Sumire Uesaka (Shalltear Bloodfallen), Kenta Myake (Guardian Cocytus), Emirikat (Aura), Yumi Uchiyama (Mare), and Masayuki Katou (Demiurge).
In addition, a film based on the “Holy Kingdom Arc” is now in development. The film will be released in 2023, according to the schedule. The great popularity of the Overlord manga served as inspiration for the anime adaptation, which has had tremendous success over the course of three seasons.
In February 2022, the producers published a visual teaser that depicts AinzOoal Gown in the centre with other characters on each side. There are also additional characters shown in the image, but only their shadows are seen. Overlord’s fourth season will be followed by a new game and a feature film, both of which will go deeper into the Overlord universe than the current season. Overlord Season 4 is slated to be released in July 2022, according to the official website.
