Attack on Titan once again proved why it is one of the greatest and most popular current anime series by trending on Twitter for over 48 hours straight last weekend. This was due to the fact that Crunchyroll, Funimation, and Hulu users were able to see “The Dawn of Humanity,” episode 87, on April 3rd after it aired on NHK General in Japan earlier today. Although one door has closed, another has opened, leaving Attack on Titan fans across the world wondering whether there will be another season 4 episode (88) airing today, April 10th?
Does Attack on Titan Season 4 have another episode this week?
No further episodes of Attack on Titan season 4 part 2 will be available to either Japanese or foreign viewers this week. Unfortunately, “The Dawn of Humanity” was the last episode of season 4 part 2, which translated chapter 130 of the manga. Season 4 part 2 will include a total of 12 25-minute episodes, as revealed by the release of the upcoming Blu-ray DVD box set. According to the schedule, Attack on Titan episodes will be aired again this week. Sunday, April 10th, Funimation and Crunchyroll will both be streaming episode 87 for free.
A third and final season of Attack on Titan will air in 2023, which is fantastic news for those who are looking forward to another season of epic episodes.
Season 4’s third Attack on Titan episode has been revealed. Immediately following the conclusion of last week’s Japanese broadcast of episode 87, the franchise revealed that season 4 part 3 will be in the works. In the last broadcast, a new teaser clip was shown that featured our ‘heroes’ in the footprint of a Wall Titan, but a release date was not given.
A new promotional image for the anime has also been posted on the anime’s Twitter page in honour of the news.
Nine manga chapters remain to be converted in Season 4 Part 3. More information will be provided on the final broadcast, which is scheduled for the end of the year.
