When Wakui introduced Mitsuya and Inui’s earlier encounter, he also paired Inui with an unexpected antagonist. Because of their long-standing rivalry, many Tokyo Revengers fans were hoping for a Koko-Inui showdown. However, the events of chapter 248 did not disappoint. Chapter 248 of Tokyo Revengers has been released by Wakui after a one-week hiatus. Certain predictions from earlier chapters came true, but most readers were taken by surprise by what happened to Inui and Mitsuya.
There were a lot of fights in the past episode, including one between Mochizuki Kanji and Chifuyu. Prior to Kokonoi calling out to Senju and Inui, the Kantou Manji Gang had been decimated by the two of them. Meanwhile, Mitsuya encountered Rindou, whom he almost defeated until Ran struck him from behind once again. In the end, though, Hakkai came to his rescue and they prepared to take on the two brothers.
“Long Time No See” is the title of Tokyo Revengers chapter 248
The beginning of Tokyo Revengers chapter 248 takes place in the past. The Haitani brothers of Roppongi led a gang of delinquents when Mitsuya was thirteen. He accompanied his sisters, Mana and Luna, to the Azabu Festival to see them. Mitsuya was awestruck and resolved to emulate their magnetic personalities. As of right now, Ran believes that Mitsuya and Hakkai would perish in five minutes flat because of his sarcastic remarks. Refusing to back down, the brothers flee, causing Hakkai to pursue them even though Mitsuya had warned him not to do so.
Aside from Haruchiyo’s displeasure, Senju comes across Haruchiyo. Senju, who is still calling him “brother,” is obviously shocked and horrified when he approaches her brandishing a steel pipe and challenging her to a battle.
Chapter 248 of Tokyo Revengers cuts to the scene where Inui first saw Koko. Insisting that he won’t allow Koko to escape, he refuses to engage in combat with his erstwhile buddy despite the former’s assurances. Wakasa Imaushi appears in the midst of their arguing and tells Koko to move aside, claiming Inui as his opponent instead.
The second-to-last appears surprised and taken aback by the prospect of facing his former senior. After finding a beaten-up Hakkai on the ground, Mitsuya finds himself in the middle of an enormous Kantou Manji army. In the midst of Ran and Rindou’s mockery, he fights back while praying for Hakkai to awaken. The youngster was knocked in the head, says Rindou, but Hakkai wakes up and claims that his health has been restored by the little snooze.
Mitsuya points out to Ran that it’s been five minutes since his forecast was incorrect.
He predicts that he and Hakkai will defeat the Haitani brothers in the next five minutes. The prior encounter between Mitsuya and the Haitani brothers was never mentioned in previous chapters, but it helps put their ongoing spat into context. It’s strange that Takeomi wasn’t present for Senju’s showdown with Haruchiyo, because that would have been expected. When compared with her affections for her brother, Haruchiyo appears to have no desire to let Senju off the hook.
Kokonoi appears to be either unwilling or frustrated with Inui’s on-again, off-again antics. At this point, it’s impossible to tell who is holding the other person hostage. Against Inui, Wakasa’s entrance in Tokyo Revengers 248 was a surprise. They do have a brief past, which may influence their interactions.
Predictions
Mitsuya and Hakkai are more than capable of dealing with the Haitani brothers, according to the evidence. Chifuyu’s or Akkun’s bouts, or Mikey and Takemichi’s, might be the focus of the next episode. It appears that Akkun has the most difficulty squaring up against the other characters. Even though both Inui and Waka are strong boxers, Waka’s experience gives him an edge. An apparently cold Haruchiyo may cost Senju dearly because of her emotions. Her ability to overcome him and heal their relationship is still up in the air.
