Fortnite may be getting Darth Vader and other Star Wars skins in the near future, according to a new leak. Due to the recent introduction of Fortnite’s new Zero Build Mode, Epic Games’ renowned battle royale game has witnessed an uptick in popularity. This is the most popular model since Fortnite’s Primal update last year. A tweak to Chapter 3 Season 2’s playlist that later became a stand-alone mode, the new game mode disables the game’s primary construction mechanic and forces players to concentrate more on their location, mobility, and shooting. Over the last three years, Fortnite has introduced a slew of new cross-over skins.
A significant number of IPs have teamed with Epic Games in order to not only provide more intriguing skins to the game but also promote the current release of the partnered IP. Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla’s Dawn of Ragnarok DLC was published just a few weeks ago, and Fortnite has introduced a new Valhalla skin to advertise it. iFireMonkey, a popular Fortnite influencer, shared an image of a possible Darth Vader skin and additional Star Wars skins in Chapter 3 Season 3. Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1’s beginning cinematic was shown being created on a PC in the Epic Games State of Unreal demonstration shown in the picture.
There are multiple files labelled “C3S3 VADER” on the second monitor, which might mean “Chapter 3 Season 3 Vader,” according to iFireMonkey. The picture also shows files titled “Chapter 3 Season 3 Jones,” “Family Guy,” and “Doom,” amongst other possible identifiers. Fortnite and Doom had already been speculated to merge in the near future. It’s not clear if Epic Games plans to release skins for those assets based on the identified files.
While some of them have already been leaked or speculated, such as Doom, there are still several that haven’t been confirmed. As a result, they might yet make an appearance in Fortnite in the future. Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 is still a few months away from release, so these leaks will have to wait. Though it’s always fascinating to think of new Star Wars skins being added to the game, Furthermore, the prospect of donning a Darth Vader skin in Fortnite is quite enticing.
