Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, Masashi Kishimoto’s popular monthly shonen manga authored and drawn by Mikio Ikemoto, will return with a new chapter in March 2022. Following the initial confrontation with Code, viewers are eager to see what the powerful Kara villain will do next. Code has previously planned to abduct Amado in order to force him to hand over his “Limiter,” allowing him to restore complete authority. The next episode will most likely be less action-packed than the previous ones but expect further advancements in the Kara organization’s struggle.
Boruto Chapter 68 Spoilers: The Scar
Code said in the last Boruto chapter that he couldn’t battle with Kawaki in his current form and that he would have to unleash his “Limiter” and compel Amado to restore his True Power. We see a scenario with Ada resting on a table and Code with her at the end of the chapter. Ada states that Amado is being concealed and safeguarded in Konoha’s heart, but there are no claw marks inside the village, so she wonders how he plans to contact him. Then we see Shikimaru, which implies that Code put a Claw Mark on him in order to penetrate Konoha and kidnap Amado.
Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Chapter 68 Spoilers
The following are major spoilers for the current Boruto manga chapter: The manga’s official title is Scar, and it begins with Boruto explaining to Amado and two other characters how Momoshiki recovered him after Kawaki’s awful attack. Boruto said that 82% of Momoshiki’s data had already been retrieved, while the remaining 18% was used to reconstruct the destroyed areas of his body. According to Amado, if Boruto died, Momoshiki’s vessel and soul would be annihilated. Momoshiki may not be able to resurrect himself since he will never be able to regain his data, but Amado argues that the problem of him occasionally taking over Boruto’s consciousness is still a problem that they have yet to solve. Boruto states that he no longer needs the drug since he feels he has mastered Momoshiki’s power.
Meanwhile, Kawaki is fast sleeping in a hospital room, and Shikimaru says they need to check with Amado first before allowing him to access Kawaki. Shikimaru says that restraint is unneeded since Kawaki can simply reduce himself using Sukuna-Hikona and that antagonising him is improper. He does, however, remind out that Kawaki’s goal is simple: he wants to keep Naruto safe. Naruto thinks he and Kawaki will have a fantastic chat when Kawaki wakes up. Sasuke claims to be aware of Code’s whereabouts. Code, according to Sasuke, is at one of Boro’s secret cult sites, an underground complex on the borders of the Land of Snow that is forbidden even by locals. When Shikimaru asks whether there is any definite evidence that Code is present, Sasuke says there is a man named Bug who is a buddy of Code’s. Shikimaru says he’ll order a deployment and questions Kawaki about Boruto’s care. Shikimaru states that he murdered Boruto in front of him and Naruto, even if the motivation was to stop Momoshiki.
According to Shikimaru, just a few people are aware of it, and they are currently deciding how to continue. Shikimaru believes Boruto should be with his friends, particularly Sarada, while Sasuke looks downcast and inquires about Boruto’s whereabouts. Meanwhile, Ada is able to learn how Boruto was able to reside at the Kara group’s hidden headquarters. She tells Code that he should be thankful that his Ten-Tails sacrifice is still alive, and reveals that he was revived with Momoshiki’s Karma. According to Ada, Boruto is now completely Ohtsutsuki because the last of Karma’s compressed data appears to have been recovered. Ada alleges that Boruto and Momoshiki had a chat that her Senrigan Clairvoyance couldn’t witness. She wonders if Boruto can communicate with Momoshiki on a spiritual level. Code proclaims that he will consider it a lucky break. Ada tells Code that Boruto’s survival is a godsend, but she’s tired of his going too far and using her brother without her permission.
Ada informs Code that his job is to deliver Kawaki to her, and Code acknowledges that he didn’t have much of a choice in the matter. In exchange, she offers to help him maintain his actual authority and achieve his own goals. Ada states he is now useless to them and that if he stays so after gaining strength, she and Daemon would have no qualms about “disposing of him.” Daemon rides on Code’s back again, and Code laments the fact that they aren’t even comrades. Ada maintains it’s all business and that if he doesn’t contribute, he’ll lose this strained relationship.
Code assures her that he has taken all necessary steps. He placed a Claw Mark in Shikimaru’s nape, and Code rips his ear out on it as Shikimaru types a code into a panel to open a door. Shikimaru enters the lab where Amado is working and inquires about Boruto’s condition. Shikimaru clutches the back of Amado’s shirt and inquires about Kawaki’s Karma. According to Amado, it is now completely impossible for Momoshiki to resurrect himself. In another moment, Sarada notices Boruto’s new scar, and Boruto insists he’s OK. Mitsuki questions Boruto about why Code attempted to murder him because he planned to feed him to the Ten-Tails. Boruto is then reminded of Shikimaru’s request that he not tell anybody of Kawaki’s death. Boruto answers cautiously, admitting that Code was most likely out of control. Sarada urges Boruto to be wary from now on, and Sasuke appears to confirm Sarada’s warning. Sasuke advises Boruto not to go anywhere alone, even if he is in the village, and the three young ninjas are relieved to see him.
Now that Kawaki is strong enough to fight Code, Sasuke explains that Code would go to whatever extent to remove his Limiters, making Amado his next target. Returning to Amado and Shikimaru’s conversation, Amado reveals that he has restored Kawaki’s Karma, prompting Shikimaru to wonder why he did so without Kawaki’s permission. According to Amado, Kawaki despises Karma, yet he needed enough might to protect their Hokage and repel attacks. According to Amado, Kawaki chose this route since his wish was absolutely important for Karma to occur. Shikimaru snarls at Amado, alleging that he is ducking his question and that what he did was not in the best interests of Konoha or Kawaki. Shikimaru’s black form emerges, still clutching Amado, and Code appears abruptly in the ceiling.
Ada chastises Code for interfering with Amado and Shikimaru’s conversation, and Code attacks Shikimaru with his claw, sending him against the wall. Amado is alarmed and yells Shikimaru’s name, but Code chokes him and orders him to remove his Limiters or he would be hurt. Amado can’t believe Code just marched into Konoha, warning him that he would be discovered instantly and that an army of shinobi would arrive soon. Amado wonders how Code knows that all he needs to do to remove his Limiters is a glance into his eyes and say the order. Shikimaru warns Ino through telepathy that Code is standing in front of him after detecting difficulties at the headquarters. According to Ino, reinforcements will be sent. Shikimaru informs Naruto and the others that he will handle the problem since he does not want Code to run. He paralyses Code with his Shadow Possession Jutsu, but the villain tells him that his technique is useless and that he could tear Amado’s carotid artery open with his fingertips. Shikimaru tells Code that he anticipated him to overlook the Claw Mark on his back and fall for such an obvious trap. “Bronco, wake up!” Shikimaru exclaims as a coffin approaches, “It’s showtime!”
Shikimaru reveals that she is a new model that has been reconditioned to be a war asset who defends Konoha, and a cyborg with Delta’s appearance emerges. Shikimaru instructs her to go after Code, but she says she already knows and urges him to “Shaddup already.” Shikimaru’s plan to catch Code off guard takes him by surprise. As the new cyborg attacks Code, the villain frees Amado. Code is informed by the Delta-like cyborg that she will not use her destructive beams on him because they will cause too much mayhem in this restricted space. Shikimaru is concerned that Code’s hand has inside the Claw Mark and tells him that he will not let him go, but Code answers that he is doing exactly the opposite. In a stunning display, he opens the Claw Mark to unveil Ada. Amado and Shikimaru are stunned. The story concludes with a second look at Ada, who is frowning, and Amado is taken away by her looks. In the next episode, Ada will most likely take action against Konoha’s new cyborg. Amado might be abducted by the Kara organisation to force Code to remove his Limiters. It’s very likely that Kawaki will awaken soon.
