No discussion about firefighter teams and spontaneous combustion would be complete without including “Fire Force,” which helped drive the franchise to its well-deserved fame. Shinra Kusakabe is featured in the anime adaptation of Atsushi Kubo’s manga “Soul Eater,” as a 3rd pyrokinetic with the ability to ignite his feet with fire. People who have been converted into live fires owing to spontaneous combustion are entrusted to Special Fire Force Company 8, a team of pyrokinetics. When the second season of “Fire Force” was completed in December 2020, it was one of Amazon Prime Japan’s top five most-watched anime television shows. (Image courtesy of Anime News Network.) Season 3 of “Fire Force” has been a long time coming for fans, so here’s everything we know thus far.
Season 2 of Fire ForceĀ
The second season of Fire Force was produced by David Production. Cells at Work and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure are two of their most popular works. In the second season, Tatsumi Minakawa (who is also the head of the scriptwriting system) took over for Yuki Yase. Shin’ya Takano, the CGI director, took over for Daisuke Kusaka. The next season, some of the original SHAFT creators returned. Hideyuki Morioka and Yoshio Kozakai, SHAFT’s Chief Animation Director, created Kizumonogatari. Riki Matsuura (Tokyo Ghoul, Noragami, and Attack on Titan) has lately contributed to SHAFT projects. Their buddy was Neito Hirohara.
The Fire Force Season 3 Cast Has Been Announced
The cast for Season 3 of “Fire Force” has yet to be announced. We should expect a primarily returning cast based on the show’s behind-the-scenes effort in the previous two seasons. Ogun Montgomery (voiced by Makoto Furukawa in Japanese and Zeno Robinson in English) and Scop (voiced by Kentaro Ito in Japanese and Tyler Walker in English) were the sole newbies to the cast (English). Gakuto Kajiwara (Japanese) and Derick Snow (English) are set to play Shinra (Via Anime News Network).
Season 3 will be animated by David Production, the same firm that animated the first two seasons. Tatsuma Minamikawa will direct Season 2 of “Fire Force” in place of Yuki Yase. Season 3 will see Minamikawa, Kazuhiro Miwa, and Kenichi Suehiro return as director, animator, and composer, respectively.
Season 3 of Fire Force: What Happens?
“Fire Force’s” third season has yet to be confirmed. Because the anime has typically followed the manga’s lead, Shinra Season 3 is likely to do so as well. Season 1 of the anime covered volumes 1 through 11 of the manga, while Season 2 covered volumes 12 through 20. Unless the anime series devolves into filler like “Naruto” or “Bleach,” Season 3 might adapt volume 20 all the way to the manga’s likely finale. The Season 2 conclusion teases a larger conflict between Company 8 and the Evangelists in the near future. After noticing the Company’s opponents were becoming more dangerous, Shinra’s training drove him to a new level known as “The Press of Death.”
Meanwhile, the killing of Captain Hague of Company 4 in the season finale dealt a serious blow to the heroes. Shinra manages to construct an Adolla Link despite this, allowing him to see Hague’s last moments. Company 8 teams up with the Tokyo Empire in Season 3 to take on the Evangelist’s formidable force.
The release date for Season 3 of Fire Force
Season 3 of Fire Force has yet to be confirmed or given an official release date. As a result, there’s a strong chance that the programme will be revived for a second season. According to the official “Fire Force” Anime Twitter, the manga has sold over 15 million copies by the end of April. The show is definitely popular enough to justify a second season, based on sales numbers.
Because Atsushi Kubo has stated that the manga would be ending soon, the next anime season may be delayed. Okubo claimed in an interview with Monsters And Critics that the manga would end around volume 30, but that this might alter. According to Anime News Network, Okubo announced in the manga’s 23rd volume that “Fire Force” will be his final work. There may be a delay in estimating the manga’s conclusion date because there have been 28 volumes published so far. While a late-2021 debut is feasible, it’s more probable that an announcement will be made later in the year, with a 2022 release date.
