TBATE Chapter 137 Recap
The city, as we all know, is on fire, and people are dying as a consequence. Doradrea’s head is on the floor, next to Theodore, who has been severely burned. Curtis is angry by the situation and intends to assassinate Draveene for what he has done. Claire, on the other hand, inhibits him from acting independently. Curtis asks Claire if she wants to see Draveene’s assassination of Theodore and Feyrith. Kathlyn hits Curtis and tells him to be patient till the right time arrives.
Following that, it is revealed that Draneeve is currently imprisoning Feyrith, while Lucas is imprisoning Tessia. Tessia’s presence perplexes Elijah, who wonders why she is there. Draneeve introduces himself, declaring that he has come to save them all. He informs everyone that while they are all-powerful in Dicathen, they are all weaklings in his domain. Draneeve tells everyone that he would strengthen them so that they can properly serve his lord. Draneeve then urges Lucas to approach and introduce himself.
Lucus removes his hood, and Elijah is angry to discover that Lucas is behind all of this. When Elijah sees Lucas, he becomes enraged to the point where a completely dark aura surrounds him and he transforms into a whole other shape. Elijah easily defeats all of the attackers as he travels towards Lucus. But suddenly Elijah collapses on the ground, tears streaming from his eyes and nose. He attacks Lucas and stabs him in the chest, but Lucus is spared serious injury. Finally, Elijah falls into the clutches of Draneeve, who summons Lucas.
