In Spain and Portugal, Microsoft’s Flight Simulator is now available

It has recently been revealed that Microsoft Flight Simulator will soon be extending across Europe, with the addition of Spain, Portugal, and Gibraltar. The original Microsoft Flight Simulator game was launched in 1982, and it has been a mainstay of the simulation genre ever since. With the introduction of this next edition in 2020, the developer was able to extend into additional countries and locales, including third-party planes, airports, and more. The Reno Air Races: Expansion Pack and the Reno Air Races: Full Collection DLC packs for Microsoft Flight Simulator recently brought racing planes to the game. PvP races using classic racing planes were included in these upgrades, which were less in scope than prior versions that featured places around Europe like Sweden.

Following a series of content dumps that included additional aerial vehicles, including helicopters, these DLC packs were released. Microsoft Flight Simulator gamers have been waiting more than half a year for new scenery to be added to the game. Introducing Spain, Gibraltar, Portugal, and Andorra to Microsoft Flight Simulator’s universe is the newest upgrade featured in a new Xbox video. Flight through the Iberian Peninsula and the Mediterranean Sea is possible for the players as they fly. These include Tenerife, Roque de Los Muchachos Observatory, the Rock of Gibraltar and Seville’s Plaza de la Revolución; Barcelona’s sports stadium; the Ces Islands; and Lisbon’s Basilica of Santa Cruz de Assis.

Players may fly over places including Madrid, Valencia, Barcelona, and Cataluyna in Spain, as well as Lisbon, Braga, and Porto in Portugal. Microsoft Flight Simulator players may receive the free update today. Since Microsoft Flight Simulator was published over two years ago, additional areas have been added to the game for players to fly over. This shows the creators’ dedication to the game.

Many people use Microsoft Flight Simulator to explore the globe when they can’t afford to go to exotic regions or are otherwise unable to do so due to physical limitations (as many were during the COVID-19 pandemic). After the Iberian Peninsula upgrade goes online, Microsoft has further enhancements planned for Flight Simulator. Although it was originally expected to be released in late 2021, the long-awaited Top Gun expansion has been postponed. Flight Simulator’s Maverick will be a popular costume choice for aspiring pilots. The upgrade will open up a new swath of Europe to anyone searching for a relaxing flight with a stunning view.
